Well, i've been pondering. I usually put ours up Dec 1st (a weekend on or just after so kids can help) BUT i have my bro and sis inlaw coming to stay over next monday... we're going to watch Rizzle Kicks!! and Mil is coming to baby sit. So i'm kind of thinking i may do the tree the week after... i may still do it this weekend but i think i'll be doing the family coming deep cleaning tbh

I'm doing mine on Friday.  I would normally wait until 1st December, but I'm going out with my sisters on Saturday for Christmas shopping then cocktails, and I like the thought of coming home to the tree all lit up.

My mum has just rang me.  She's dying to get her tree up but I can't face it at the minute lol.  She'll have to wait til the weekend or maybe next week.

Yep, I think putting trees up tomorrow will be great! I'm having a party on Saturday night, my main tree would be in the way but I could put my upstairs one up, the guests will see it in the window as they arrive

M+S have lots of penguin stuff this year. Don't tell you-know-who or she'll be broke

 Sweet they got Penguin: wrapping paper, slipper socks, PJs, door stops, hot water bottles, cards, hat+scarf set. They had a penguin skittles set but I can't see it anymore. I was gonna get that, drat.

I've just come back from the local shops Christmas lights switch on, my older two were singing with the school choir. It was lovely, there was Santa who was giving all the kids free advent calenders, free refreshments and the kids singing. I cant remember the last time i went somewhere with 3 kids and never spent a penny!

Well.....are there any xmas trees up yet in our FM's houses??

One over the road went up last weekend and came home from work tonight.......next door all aglow 

I think from tomorrow onwards there will be loads starting to appear.

 

There's a highly annoying trend round here to get the trees up at midnight on Halloween night.  I'm a big fan of xmas but geeeeez!

I had a lovely afternoon today in town with 2 kids and toddler (with pushchair) We looked at all the lights and walked around the German market, they all behaved and we all enjoyed it! Don't know what possessed me to do it as it all could have been really stressful cos it was heaving!
