We've been to a garden center today and they were just putting their C******** stuff out, so I'm guessing that they are excited too

i got all my stocking fillers today

El, it's supposed to be a surprise, that's what people requested. I also sent out pm's to everybody I knew of who doesn't like the threads, so that they a) wouldn't be surprised and b) wouldn't look in!

Can we do a stopgap... Christmas is so long away... lets go for Halloween for now

Well this is when I start to think about Christmas.  I won't buy anything yet but the plans have to start today.  Find out what the kids want, look around for prices, do lists.

I bough at Kids ATM machine money box ,it takes your money coins/notes,keeps check of the total and you have use your card for withdrawals.

I asked my kids what they want for Xmas. 2 said "money, make-up, clothes, iPads, new mobile phones, jewellery, shoes, money, puppies, money" and about 100 other things. One said "a new case for my guitar". One said "a Henry hoover, a mohican, a baby sister and jaffa cakes" and the wee man just smiled and sucked his toe

 

I can't wait  Every year I have a theme and this year it's the same as last year. Over the top. I've got my spray snow ready

I lost an Advent Calendar yesterday

 

I bought my little one, just gone to uni, a big pack of small chocolate bars, marked up with Dec 1, Dec 2 etc.

 

When I got home I didn't have them. I think they must have fallen out of the shopping trolley on my way back to the car.
