Sounds like some of you are very organised!
What gifts have you bought? I'm thinking of keeping it simple this year with things like smellies, fluffy socks & chocolates

From what I can gather sweet it's Santa & Elves. 

 

Yes, I saw the snow dogs thread, I'll be on the look out for them.

 

Anyway, you know how my sisters & I do a 'make something for the parents' Christmas comp each year. This year it is make a hand and/or footprint salt dough Christmas decoration.

 

Mine is in the oven drying as I type. 

 

I am the youngest of the sisters & Mam still calls me her baby. So I've made a huge plaque with my footprint & handprint on it, with the words 'Baby's 45th Christmas'. I'm thinking I might add a photo of me in a onesie with a towel nappy & a dummy while sleeping like a baby.

im really getting in the mood for Christmas,,,is it to early just to do my kids bedroom up ?..I have lovely Christmas quilt covers Christmas rug and wall stickers ..or should I wait till December ?..oh I don't know

I started making chocolate truffles last night. Dark chocolate with Cointreau & milk chocolate with Baileys.  I'be also had 4 litres of Christmas pudding flavoured vodka on the go since last week & bought these bottles to put it in for gifts.

Well, my Christmas cooking is coming along well. Roast potatoes, parsnips, potato dauphonoise, bread sauce, cranberry sauce, grave and swede all done and in the freezer. Mince pies and Nigella's ham in coke to do this week ... well, providing the new fridge freezer arrives tomorrow. The old one is slowly dying, it's 14 years old, keeps breaking down, and I can't risk it going over Christmas, so we've ordered one today, at 3.30 pm, and it is being delivered tomorrow
