Incredibly, Susan flew into another rage on Tuesday night after judge Piers Morgan lavished praise on rival singer Shaheen Jafargholi.

Shaheen, 12, wowed the judges with And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going from the musical Dreamgirls.

Piers, who gave spinster Susan her first kiss, said: "I think that, pound for pound, that was the best singing performance we've seen so far."

Smiling Simon Cowell added: "You are a real contender in the competition."

Hairy Angel Susan - watching on the hotel bar's TV with Shaheen's pals, family and show fans - stood and screamed "f*** off" before flicking a "V" at the screen and storming out.

More than 100 people saw her tantrum.

One onlooker said: "Susan was sitting there quite happily with her drink at first.

"She got a bit annoyed when a busload of tourists asked for autographs and told them to wait until Shaheen had finished. She was smiling as Shaheen sang but afterwards, when Piers started praising him, Susan went nuts.

"She got up, did one of those strange wiggling dances that she does, and then stuck two fingers up at the TV. Then she marched off. We didn't see her again.

"Everyone staying at the hotel gets on really well - it's like one big happy BGT family - so everyone was shocked by her outburst."

Shaheen was voted into the final by Piers, 44, and Amanda Holden. She's admitted to fancying "baby-faced" Piers.

The onlooker added: "She was clearly upset that her favourite judge had sided with one of her main rivals.

"It's beginning to look like its all getting a bit much for her."

Locals in Susan's hometown of Blackburn, West Lothian, claim Susan has frequent angry outbursts.

They've called her Rambo after the troubled fictional film hardcase "for years".

A neighbour told The Sun: "The reason is because if Susan doesn't get what she wants, she goes wild."

Another added: "It's not unusual to see her freak out over the smallest thing.

What bigger idiots the media are, and even bigger idiots are those who lap this type of story up! She is being hounded by the press just because she happens to be a very ordinary, dowdy looking woman with a brilliant voice!

Nod Clapping well said. What are these stories about her doing? Just promoting the show and Simon Cowell. People ought to be careful of being taken in by all the rubbish printed. Poor woman. I just hope she can cope with the backlash.

Exactly Orchid - I take 'em all with a large dose of salt particularly the red tops which, more often than not, get it entirely wrong.

Typical Britain though - build someone up and then delight in pulling them down.

I'm beginning to feel quite sorry for her actually as this media frenzy is grossly unfair on her.

Nod Thanks Hyacinth and well said!

I don't think she's that brilliant, and to have such an outburst just shows that she has got too far above her station (prolly due to all the press attention). I just know that in this country we like the underdog (hence her popularity to begin with) but the minute they start taking themselves too seriously then it will be her downfall. He is a far better singer than her and I just think it shows bad sportsmanship on her part.

I watched her for the first time on Sun or Mon whenever it was and thought she was an ok singer not as good as all the hype. As the shy old spinster she is supposed to be I saw no signs of this, girating ans wiggling about and flirting with Morgan,it made me gasp. Now the news today swearing giving then fingers and then. brawling with journos. I think she is a looney.

Media is to blame Nod, but at the end of the day Susan Boyle chose to enter the show so should have known that the attention would have came with it before she auditioned. The likes of Shaun Smith and Shaheen seem to be coping well with their press interest even though they don't get as much as SB. But they do spout some rubbish. I feel sorry for her but it's going to be like this for her even more so when she wins.

I feel sorry for her darlo.
She didn't ask for all the (often unkind) media attention. She took her chance on the competition like every one else. She has a very good voice.

She has obviously been a loner all her life, even though she comes from a large family. One of her siblings said that Susan got her own way with her mum all the time. I'm not surprised she is not good at dealing with not getting what she wants. I feel sorry for her though. She is an ordinary woman with faults and some talent. She has had intolerable pressure put upon her.

I don't even watch the show but I know about Susan Boyle. I doubt she could have even begun to envision the fuss that would be made of her, especially being an older contestant.

As I suspected, it was all reported in The S*n - why people buy that rubbish is totally beyond me! I wouldn't wipe my ar*e on that paper!! Mad

If she wins Darlo!

I've just got the feeling that either Diversity or Flawless are going to win this year as they are both exceedingly good and different to the usual run of singers.

I thought George Sampson was a dreadful winner last year - I would have much preferred Escala or Signature.

I read an interview with Diversity and even they don't think they will win the show Frowner, they think SB will but they said they'll give it their best shot.

Diversity

It's all a bliddy fix anyway so she was always going to win. I just think it's a shame because what is she actually going to do after the show? Shaheen and Shaun could both go on to have great musical careers but SuBo won't, her stuff will only appeal to mad old bats like her. I won't be voting for her anyway, not that it'll do much good.

They're brilliant, after Flawless and Diversity of course Big Grin.

Really, it's anyone but The Boil for me. Big Grin

Me too, she's talented but I don't want her to win Shake Head Wink. Some of the other acts are way more talented imho.
