See this is one reason I keep putting off getting a cat , or anything ....cos I think if anything happened to it , it would finish me off

yes - we have  cat flap  - she loves being out and TBH think cats should go outdoors - we kept her in for 15 months but she was destroying the wall paper - so we let her out

Yes, ours always went out ....with a cat flap ....in fact I didn’t know people kept them in constantly until recently

I know bazzy but you can have one as a house cat - some prefer being indoors

when we got ours it seemed to be 'The thing' but it wasn't for our cat  - it is a personal choice
