Depends what you need it for Muffs
If you're talking about BT's infinity fibre optic, then yeh it makes a huge difference in speed for those currently on ADSL (internet through the phone).

TalkTalk is ADSL, same as me cept I use Sky Broadband because they offered some cheap(ish) deal with the TV package. Anyway we don't have a date set for our exchange to get Fibre yet. Hope it's soon though. I wanna watch iplayer in HD lol.

It's an extra 10/15 quid a month which begs the question: is it worth it?

No
It depends what you're using it for. If it's just browsing then there's not much point to it, but if you download lots of music, stream things or have anyone that plays/downloads games online then you'll really notice the difference.

So do I, but I have it wired rather than wireless and that does reduce the risk of the broadband speed being less. Mine is officially up to 10 mb, soon to be doubled, and if I run a speed test I get 9.7 mb which is fine for my needs.
