I know some of you find Sunshine slightly tiresome, but I really have warmed to her. Ben on the other hand, has lost my support.

From the time he decidedd to nominate his "Friend" Sunshine, I realised he's as massive game player, as Monk Dave, JJ and Josie(Yes her, trust me she is not be trusted).

I Love Sunshine for pulling him up on his snidey put downs, and his patronising assumptions about the other HM's. Sunshine is an intelligent young woman who Ben is extremely threatened by, and so he should, the girl is sharp!

I am not sure if Ben is patronising or not, perhaps he hasnt mixed with "these people" and trying to work them out. I am sure Sunshine would try the patience of a saint. Not sure yet but at the moment i find Ben very funny. His "washer woman" comments should be in the hall of fame for best BB comment. i find him very fuuny

I agree with what you say Senora, however I would add that Sunshine, having being accused of having ADHD by Ben, she then went on to say "If anyone has it, it's Govan".  So she kinda lost her moral highground at that point... unless of course it was her medical diagnosis.

Sorry Senora    I can't agree with you this time.
I don't feel Ben patronises.
What you describe as "snidey put downs" I consider to be just light-hearted stuff, humour banter,...whatever one chooses to call it.
The remark about Ritalin and being hyperactive, for instance, would, I think have been taken as a non-serious remark by most people. (Sunshine herself said something like "if anyone has it Govan does", so one questions the depth of her disapproval.

I wouldn't have taken offence if it had been said to me; it was clearly not serious.
Actually I think she was just pretending to be offended. A tactic, a ploy (a bit like Bea used to do), and she probably knows how to press Ben's buttons (so to speak.)
I think she was "performing" and only pretending to be upset, which I think is pretty nasty.

However Senora   I'm sure it won't be long before we are in agreement again.

I dont think for one minute that Ben considers any of them friends, believing them to be beneath him ,he has a warped sense of superiority. This guy is desperate for media fame ,having appeared in several reality shows. His biggest worry now is that taking this gig could go against him for future projects within the industry.

And I just heard her remark to Corin suggesting that BB was going to give her lessons to make her brighter. Snidey put downs, patronising assumptions, sounds like Darkness Sunshine to me

LOL, yeh that remark to Corin was every bit as (conceivably) nasty as Ben's ADHD comment.  I don't hold it against Sunshine though, or Ben.  However Ben's newly found love of bitching is something that would rapidly put me off him if he should decide to continue down that route...

Understatement of the millenium. Everything is all about her and if it's not about her she'll find a way to make it so. Her exchange with Ben being a prime example. How much airtime did she think she could get out of playing a victim and making Ben apologise over and over again? Spoiled little brat, I want her out pronto. Shabby first though.

Good post . I think he'll walk in week 3 or 4.

I find him snidey and false
me too, marg.

his constant little toff lost act, when he's been rude and personally offensive to some one is becoming tedious, and far from sunshine grabbing the victim role, he manages to grab it all for himself every time.

With respect Brisket just because YOU wouldn't have taken offence does not make it un offensive.People get upset by different things. Ben is an odious toad IMO. I don't think I could stand being in that house for more than half an hour with him,Having said that I think Ben and Sunshine have a lot in common - both do not have particularly good social skills, both do not seem to understand what appropriate and inappropriate behavour is and both cannot leave something alone. Ben, when he has offended, needs constant reassurance that he is forgiven and Sunshine just needs constant reassurance that she is an okay member of the house.

Tbh, I could see both sides of the argument. Ben is obviously very fourthright in the way he speaks to people, which in the outside world, wouldn't perhaps be seen as so much of a problem, but obviously inside the house, and also due to  Sunshine's many hang ups, it becomes very much a problem.

I like both of them ... I just think Ben tries too hard with people sometimes ... he should take a step back.

i wouldn't have been offended, but then i know ADHD is nowt to be ashamed about! (funny how she didn't want to be thought of as having it but was quite fine with throwing the label at Govan)...i'm suprised noone said it to Shabby yet!

mind you from what i have seen of Sunshine i dunno where the ADHD comment came from??

Dart, from what I remember it was Sunshine who mentioned the actual words ADHD and ritalin.....I think that Ben was a lot more vague and non-specific than that, (could be wrong?)
