Like many people I was quite surprised at Cameron's outburst in the commons the other day. We all have different ways of dealing with hecklers, but the "Calm down dear!" material seemed patronising and sexist.

I read a few positive things about Ms Eagle, but the last line of a particular article said that she doesn't suffer fools gladly.

I dedicated my working life to detecting such individuals. Middle Management was stuffed full of serious and humourless, intimidating bully types, and I felt it my duty to attack them using flippancy, humour, irony, and sarcasm.

Happy Days!

Do you suffer people who don't suffer fools gladly, gladly?

I suffer people who don't suffer fools gladly, gladly....as long as the fools they don't suffer are total fools and not just people who are occasionally foolish but really mean well, and are not just foolish in general.

As for the fools themselves, sometimes I suffer them gladly, sometimes I kinda grit my teeth and roll my eyes, and occasionlly I lose the plot (and all my dignity) and tell them to F off.

Well, that explains why I failed my maths O level

I'm a very perceptive person and can spot a fool a mile of - I very much enjoy playing them at their own game.  However in regards to the Cameron comment I do belive that as per usual it has been blown way out of proportion - yes maybe it was alittle patronising but it was in no way sexist.

Probably said it before he thought about how it might come across.

That said, he repeated it quite a few times didn't he?

DC does have a sort of Michael Winner voice though.. very uncanny

Exactly Peach hence why he probably thought his joke would have great effect

Of the nauseating embarrassing kind. PMs seem to excel in this area.

I always think if you close your eyes and listen to Cameron he sounds like Chris Evans - try it next time you hear him.

I'm a very perceptive person and I can spot you a mile of. As per the Cameron coment, we haven't heard enough from the feminists. Cameron was out of order.

We can all make mistakes - much as I loathe Cameron with a passion - it really was simply a ill thought comment. No doubt he thought he was being humourous

Exactly - and let's face it they do get rather over excited during prime ministers questions - it was something said in the heat of the moment that was meant to be humourous but as per usual in this country it has been over analysed and had the sexist label slapped on it.

hmmm so that apology following your banning was not sincere - shame really as I was prepared to let bygones be bygones and make a fresh start with you however unfortunately it appears that you are not.  In that case I will revert to my older method of just ignoring you - it's a shame really however I am not prepared to go back to constantly rowing with you as quite honestly I have bigger things to worry about.  So like I say from now on I will not reply or in any way react to anything you have to say.  Would have been nice to lose the atmosphere on here but obviously that was not to be.

To others participating in this thread I would like to apologise for taking the thread off topic here however I felt that I needed to say my piece on this ocassion as I am usually seen as the bad guy on this forum yet that post alone clearly shows that I'm not.  Anyway that is the last I have to say on that matter - let's get back to the topic at hand.
