Apparently changed in 2001. The Indians have been changing all the names given to them by the English.

The Empire I guess

Exactly. They are taking it back, which is fair enough. Although there are people there who want the English back! They seem to be in a minority.

Me either, even though I'm desperate for a job. I watched Slumdog Millionaire the other day....what a good film it was

I've seen it once, but only remember bits of it. Maybe a re-watch required.

I got it on a cut price DVD (when HMV was closing down) and have only just got round to watching it now

I have no problem with some people earning more than most, I just think that all wealth should be more evenly distributed throughout society.

No one needs to earn ÂĢ1M per year.

I'm with you there, but there are some that would say they really have worked for that. (are we still talking about India)

I'm talking Western society. I don't doubt people work hard, but does one person on ÂĢ1M work that much harder than say a person on ÂĢ30,000 per year? They would say more responsibility but I would argue responsibility is shared by management layers.

 Heavy for a night discussion.

Believe me, I know what you're saying. There's profits and there's profits (right)
