Cheers EC, I actually watched it on youtube just after posting in this thread last night 

I was only 7 then but I watched Neighbours

I had just started work and it seemed everyone watched it back then. Me too. In fact I used to watch it on and off until it moved to Channel 5 (which I could not get) at which point I stopped and have not watched it since. I wonder how many of the original characters are still in it???
