Thanks for this MrsH.  I didn't know about Susan.  Scott has just posted on FB that one lung is in.  I have a candle lighting and saying lots of prayers for them both.  They are such lovely people.

Well ..............................I dont know them at all ........when we moved here I find it incredibly difficult to negotiate my way around but ..............I really send all good wishes and hope that it goes on to make a wonderful and beneficial change to their lives.

it's nice to hear some good news - I'm sure it's not a pleasant thing to go through but hopefully the end justifies the means.

All my love and best wishes to both Susan, Scott and their family. Scott updated FB around 50 minutes ago to say that one lung was in, one to go.....fingers crossed she's out of Surgery and on the road to recovery as soon as possible...x

I've been on edge all day following SBevis's FB updates..

It's a massive operation, i'm sure the whole family are feeling pretty helpless right now, though she's in the best hands possible.....here's hoping she's out of surgery and on the road to recovery as soon as possible......sending lots of love and positive thoughts all the way over the pond to two lovely, lovely people and their family

Update from Scott from FB is that both lungs are in and working and they are checking for bleeding...10 minutes ago......xxxx

"Susan is in ICU and doing well. Thank you for all your prayers and support. God bless you"

Susan is beginning to start the wake up procedure. She will open her eyes when talked to. Over the next couple of hours they will bring her around slowly. Enjoy your day have hae faith. Thanks again for all the prayers and warm wishes. They mean everything. I will post as the day goes on.

Ooh it's looking hopeful so far. Hope she continues to do well.

Susan update-she is breathing without the machine. As she improves, she will get closer to having the breathing tube remove. She is starting to get feisty.
