"I'm going to sue. I've got everyone staring at me because of this.

"He should be apologising to me. What have I got to apologise for ? I got arrested for it at the time and I got a fine. Now I feel all depressed."

Everyone is staring at him? you can't see his face!!!

Now he's all depressed? What about the poor people he's been bullying....unbelievable!!!

Good to see, but the bloke should not have let the yob get in his face like that as he could have easily head butted him. In this case though the yob was clearly trying to get the man to hit first so he could claim self defence. In fact the law does allow you to hit first if you believe an attack is imminent and as long as you use 'reasonable force'!

It said in the paper today that the Man has complained to the Police around 50 times in the last year about yobs making his life hell....maybe explaining the boarded up windows....

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/ho...r-threatens-Sun.html

THE yob seen on The Sun's website being floored by an ex-soldier is threatening to sue us - for humiliating him.

Les Andrews, 23, got on to his solicitor after more than 200,000 readers saw him belted by Jason Smith. The thug rang us and said: "I'm going to sue. I've got everyone staring at me because of this.

"He should be apologising to me. What have I got to apologise for ? I got arrested for it at the time and I got a fine. Now I feel all depressed."

But Gulf War veteran Jason, 35, told how his life had been made hell by yobs like Andrews in St Helens, Merseyside.

After complaining to police FIFTY times in a year, the 15st karate and jiu-jitsu black belt snapped when Andrews swore and pushed him on his doorstep.

Yesterday Jason said: "These thugs repeatedly abused me and my family and damaged our property. I've never gone out looking for trouble but think you've got to be able to defend yourself." He has now moved away from the estate with daughter Boudiccia, 22 months, and wife Rebecca, 23.

Yesterday the father of Andrews - who was put under curfew for the public order offence - said his son had also moved away. Les Snr said: "He's getting his life back on track."

Its sad it has to come to this.

Why oh why do the police and authorities in this country never support or protect people from these violent intimidating thugs, even when they complain and plead to for help over and over again.

It's a sorry state of affairs this country has gotten itself into.

Police and the council SHOULD make more of an effort to support the everyday law abiding citizens.  I'm getting sick of reading and seeing stories like this, some of which have a tragic ending.

Makes me sick.

If he does plan on sueing it will be on legal aid, then it's about time us, the public, complain about this in our droves. This waste of space will be more then likely be granted it, because those in charge of it don't seem to be able to discriminate and then the courts get clogged with this kind of crap. In the end it will cost us thousands which will will be a win, win for his defence. Even though he may not get a penny. I am so sick of the system tolerating these prats.
