Very interesting site, but it also proves the point that different cultures and languages change existing names to suit their own cultures.
For example, Sile or Sheelagh coming from the Latin name Cecilia, or Siobhan being the Irish form of the name Joan.
Also, the Irish names themselves appear to have alternative spellings in Ireland.
