Is it a slimming one? if so would you mind passing on the recipe, cheers.

This is what I did tonight - it's based on SW but my own version.

Poach 2/3 haddock (or cod) 1/3 smoked fish - prawns (or I used scallops tonight - in skimmed milk for about 6 or 7 minutes. Lightly boil broccoli, baby corn, asparagus and green beans.

Make a cheese sauce without butter using the milk you poached in and flour/half fat cheese..

Lay the vegetables and fish in a dish and pour over the sauce. Top with a thin layer of mashed potato and grated cheese and bake in the oven for round about 35 mins.

Of course it's much nicer using a creamy cheese sauce and a thick later of mash but .....................it was delicious and I'm acquiring a taste for lower fat recipes.

We went to a wine bar last night where they were doing BOGOF on cocktails.  Which SHOULD have meant we only needed to buy 3 drinks or so but no, we were greedy mares and had 10 cocktails and 3 sambucca then went back to my mates house and drank vodka we also picked up a gay man and took him home with us and made him sing.

I've a headache but as soon as that goes I'll be grand

your nights out always sound fun

MrsH

Last night was great fun MrsH.... there were a lot of staff nights out going on last night so we also got to watch all the shenanigans unfold. The non drinkers who decided to drink, the office sleaze trying it on with everyone....he threw pound coins at my cleavage as if it was a slot machine  cheeky shit.  And the gay singer in the bar who got molested by a crowd of really posh older women.

He was a right diva though when we went back to my mates house, he moaned and moaned about the music/drinks/company.  He wanted fed too (cheek of him) so I microwaved him a pizza.  I have no idea how long I cooked it for or if it was even edible but he scoffed it anyway.

Haven't read about this, but maybe she didn't really 'run off'? Maybe she went with their blessings, though they may have been under the impression it was with friends around her own age rather than a teacher, and now the thought of all the potential accusations are just too much for them?

Then again, maybe they new exactly what was what, but somehow thought it wouldn't be exposed and now the thought of all the legal ramifications are just too much for them?

Will we ever know?

Poor you.

At Slimming World today .......................I stayed the same - pretty good really - although I have been very, very good I knew the 6 pound weight loss from the week before last (after my stay in hosp) would be hard to maintain.

2 pounds left to get to 2 stone weight loss.

Been out to dinner tonight (was quite good) a fillet steak/salad and just a few chips.
