MICHELLE Heaton has undergone a double mastectomy.

The 33-year-old mum of one had the op to remove both her breasts yesterday.

This afternoon she took to Twitter to thank her fans for their support.

The former Liberty X star wrote: "Thank u for all your lovely tweets. It  went well, but I'm obviously very sore & disorientated still. I have the  best doctors & husband Eva!x"

Before the procedure yesterday she had written: "Thank u so much 4 your  well  wishes. Sorry I can't get back 2 u all, though I have read every1. On  way  2hospital now. Love u all, Michelle xx."

And on Monday she added a snap of herself with daughter Faith.

She captioned the pic: "My last cuddle with #babyfaith before my op..  dont  know when she will be able to cuddle upto me again.. big day 2moz X."

Michelle made the difficult decision to have a double mastectomy last month  after discovering she had the BRCA2 cancer gene.

Having the gene means she had an 85 per cent chance of getting breast cancer  and 40 per cent chance of ovarian cancer.

That must be a very tough but brave decision to make.  Best wishes to her.

You'd think Susan Boyle would WANT to be a trending topic on Twitter.

But last night the Britain's Got Talent star was a popular hashtag for all the wrong reasons.
The singer's management put out a tweet to encourage fans to buy her brand new album 'Standing Ovation'.

But instead of reading the hashtag #susanalbumparty as Susan-Album-Party, it was interpreted by tweeters as Sus Anal Bum Party.

Yes really.

Before long it was trending on Twitter - despite  the account only having 7,000 followers - with a load of famous faces piling into the fun.

According to The Sun, Capital radio DJ Lisa Snowdon posted: “I don’t think Susan Boyle’s record company thought this hash tag thru properly...”

Even American star Nicole Richie tweeted: “LMFAO OH MY GOD.”

Regular tweeters piled in on the hashtag
One user @hagsyp posted: "Susan boyles media team actually spawned the hashtag #susanalbumparty... Lol."

Another took to the site to say: "#Susanalbumparty haha funniest hash tag ever! How did her twitter team not notice! Hahaha!"

My guess is that they did notice. I'll bet it's been talked about far more than it would have been without this gaffe. There is no such thing as 'bum' publicity.

So true Soozy .

Geez that was an awful punch!  Poor girl was knocked out soon as he hit her, God knows what damage that fall did to her face too.

Retweeted a clip of this yesterday, heres an article on it, says she was treated for bruising to her head and cuts to her face   http://www.lbc.co.uk/watch-gir...rovoked-attack-63166

What scares me is he followed for 500meters from outside her home! So he knows where she lives too

Police received an anonymous phone call  informing them of Ayoade's address.

Officers discovered cannabis at his home in  Plaistow and he pleaded guilty to possession of a class C drug on November  21.

Ms Batra said: 'He said he admitted to doing  it, it was a misunderstanding on his part. He had had too much to drink and  smoke that day.'

'He said he was going about his business and  was intimidated by her look, she looked like she wanted a fight. She looked  about 19 or 20. He did not approve of the way she looked so he went back and  punched her....He said "Nah, that hurt, I  can’t go further in my day taking an insult from a little person like  that".'

'He thought to himself “No, no I am not  taking this”,' the lawyer said.

'He never spoke to her, just punched  her.'

Marianna Christou, defending, said that  Ayoade had come to the UK from Nigeria when he was just three years old, and had  to fend from himself from young age. He was said to have no contact with his  family.

Ms Christou said: 'He has drunk since he was  16 and smokes up to 10 joints a day which in my submission is excessive and  perhaps this causes some degree of paranoia and low self esteem.'

Ayoade was remanded in custody and is due to  appear at Inner London Crown Court on a date to be fixed.

A misunderstanding because he has to much to drink and smoke

Where do they dream up nonsense like this? They must have several teams working full time at it!

Extremely Fluffy Fluffy Thing

BOILERS BROKEN AGAIN!!!!

It was only fixed on Monday - hopefully someone will be out tomorrow - it's booked for a service on Thursday!

My old boiler was never so much trouble - it went on year after year with the minimum of fuss and attention. This one is five years old and supposed to be the Dogs B's ...........cost an arm and a leg .............makes me mad

Weird thing happened yesterday. Husband & I were getting ready to go away for the evening. I went to get my hold all out of the loft, which was put up there months ago and was near the back (which I saw last week when I was up there), anyway I got the rod thing that unlocks the loft hatch and started to lower the ladder and there sitting in the middle of the ladder was the hold all I was going up to get.

OK .........................wait for it.

Slimming World weigh in - I lost 6 pounds!!!!!!

I am currently at 26 pound weight loss since the end of July.

Thinking about setting a target - don't want to go too low - saw an old friend yesterday who I haven't seen in ages and she's been doing SW. She has reached her target but keeps losing (it is aging TBH).

Anyway - I'm over the moon!
