My girls like JLS too. They don't fancy them....to quote one of them "they're not like FIT..fit, but fit...yeah?" When I say "no doll. Matt Goss is fit. George Michael is fit. John Taylor is fit." I get a look of disgust
Aww Cags it was brilliant standing there with all those teenage girls who eventually screeched and ran like they would have never at school sports day. I loved it.
The young lad I got talking to was hilarious, and he was calling his female best mate 'you're a whore you're a whore' I said 'whoah there don't call her a whore..... (brief pause) ..call her a slut'.
She turned and laughed (thankfully) I gave her a massive hug and said I didn't mean it. But her boy laughed for ages and kept saying that is the funniest thing I have heard in ages.
PISSED

I don't really like going to the cinema and don't really like Bond but .........................I quite enjoyed it.
Just heard I'm off to a place called the Paint Box for a hen do - it's a place where you decorate your own pottery items (I know a bit random - reasons behind it). Curry afterwards.
OK - I'm not very arty - I know some of you are - bombard me with some really good ideas please

I was thinking the same (for my kitchen) duck egg/black/cream. Maybe I'm missing the point though - perhaps it's a gift for the bride (How selfish am I?)
Mr C is quite difficult to buy for, I like to find him unusual different gifts. I think I've just found the perfect thing for him and I know he will love it.

WOW .............what a brilliant gift.
Doesn't it look exciting?
For Xmas this year I'm buying my OH a goat. And 20 chicks.
I'll buy him some 'real' pressies too but we decided to both buy some charity gifts for each other and the kids this year as we spend a small fortune on crap every year so a few quid out of the xmas fund for some charity gifts won't kill us.

That's lovely. I've so often thought about doing that ............i've never put my money where my mouth is though. You've got me thinking.

You can have a curry with NO syns if you use the cauliflower based curry recipe
1 Large cauliflower
Chicken Stock
Medium Curry Powder
Break florets and put in a pan, add enough chicken stock to cover. Cook until cauliflower is soft. Add a few spoons of curry powder and blitz. Keep tasting and adding curry powder (then blitzing) until you get the taste you like
I'd advise doing it in a small pot as I tried to make a bigger batch and it was disgusting whereas the smaller batch works for me every time!
Cheers, but I like chicken with my curry.

Thats just the sauce recipe. You add in chicken or whatever you want.
I love curry with big chunks of chicken, onions, mushrooms and chillies.
(That's dinner for tomorrow sorted now that I've put myself in the mood for it)

Blonde moment I thought the caulie was a substitute for chicken
I will definately try the recipe

Thanks for the link, Ells.
A few years ago, I remember my mum asking my dad to buy a goat for her Christmas, and he thought she'd gone nuts. He did make a donation to the charity and bought her a "proper" present too.
Cinds, I am so jealous of Mr Cinds' Christmas pressie - he's a lucky man.
Cinds and Soozy, congratulations to both of you on your weight loss.
Are there any charities where you can buy a charity gift which helps to preserve big cats in the wild?
Cheers for that erin - I am sooooo utterly excited about this - even more so than our sooz!!!

I bet you're not I can't stop talking about it (and singing here and there)
A friends has downloaded the Liam Neeson film (1991) I didn't even know about it I shall be watching that in a couple of days - my sister is up for a visit next weekend - I will prompt her on nagging her OH re tickets for the Premier ............it's a long shot but .............it would br Greeeeeeeeeeat - it's on my 37th Wedding Anniversary.
Just to add - I've just read this last post - gonna trawl back as I saw a hint of a clip somewhere
Doesn't it look exciting?
It looks amazing.
I love the charity gift idea. Quite a lot of us do it now. I got my friend a penguin last year. She got me a snow leopard. I've also stopped sending Xmas cards. I figured I spend about ÂĢ30 on cards and stamps at Xmas so instead of that for the last 2 years I've given that money to animal charities. It's not much but I figure it's better spent on bedding and food for them rather than cards which are such a waste. We all wish each other Merry Xmas on FB and by text etc so no need for cards.
I've downloaded the new Ben Elton book 'Two Brothers' onto my Kindle .............I always get very excited by a new Ben Elton - lovely to be able to get it at a whim at 1.30 am. I had to check with a few people first to make sure they hadn't bought it for my birthday.
I'm off to Bath for the weekend - see you all on Sunday evening.
It'll give your ears a rest from my prattle
Have a lovely time Soozy.
Ohhh, i love Bath sooz, have a fabulous time
