Ok had enough, I'm putting the record straight. I've been in effin bad place for weeks now but reason for that is this:

last night i had to search for a missing bus pass few minutes before daughter was leaving, then it was her glasses that she needed for college today, after turning the house upside down, I thought i'd better check the bin bag from her bedroom bin that had been emptied into the outside bin for collection today, so there I am in the dark and rain searching the bins and there they was

I know but I do think she was really genuinely upset after seeing that montage. Added to which she's not long had the baby and is probably a bit hormonal 'ya know' (how many times did she say that?}
Like a couple of others (Jen and Ells? - can't remember) - I like her and do feel desperately sorry for her. She's kind of not one thing or the other .......not properly famous in her own right but has stepped out of her old world.

I'm cooking guinea fowl tonight. Never cooked it before ............had a quick look around the recipe sites on line - apparently it's nice casseroled (too late now). Any tips?
Make sure it's dead first Soozy, that's the only tip I have having never cooked it before.

No but that sounds posh Soozy I had quail when I was an au pair to a posh family in Spain but thats a bit unrelated lol. Guinea fowl is supposed to be a bit like Turkey... so I guess its on the dry side?

Mr woo got it from a local butcher who does fancy bits and bobs. It's only small so not really big enough for an 'occasion' - I've had it before in France - it's a bit like 'gamey' chicken - described as a cross between chicken and pheasant.
I think I'm gonna rub it in garlic/salt/pepper - stuff an onion and bay leaves in it and roast. I'm 'game' for anything me
