Actually I'm ticking the weeks off to my birthday when I'll be 56. I have a private pension (not actually worth that much) but it matures to tie in to Mr Woos 60th. A bit of extra dosh but the biggy really is we can stop the monthly payments. Our pension hasn't really performed that well - we;d have been better off spending it on another mortgage and letting the property.

My arms are knacking off Fridays session with the dumbbells.  The pain was even waking me up during the night last night.

Today I've struggled with the diet, but I think it's because Mr C made a lovely roast pork dinner for him and the boy and I had noodles with a sweet and sour sauce with added soya beans to give me some protein. YUM FLIPPIN YUM

On the list so far:

Noodles in sweet & sour. (not a big fan of sweet and sour)

Vegetable & green lentil dahl

I think I'd like having my food all sent to me.

Sweet and sour isn't for me either.

Ells like I said to Soozy in the Jenny Craig thread, that's why I've chose to do this diet, I've put some weight back on after losing loads, but I'm feeling lazy and uninspired so having a months worth of every meal plus snacks sent to me which are going to help me lose weight seemed like the right choice.

I like the myfitnesspal site.  It's simple calorie counting and really easy to use.

I lost quite a bit quite quickly with that app Ells think one week i lost 6lbs, was the first time i ever calorie counted/dieted, on the iphone you can even scan bar codes and it with bring up the nutritional info from just that! I've actually been thinking i should load it on again and do it til christmas.

I'm not sure I want a badge; it may clash with my outfit  but am happy to 'upgrade' if necessary.

yes.. i'll probably wait until I try to do something and I can't....   'upgrade' is a bit of a trades descriptions contravention imo.... it's actually only a 'pay not to downgrade'
