If you put bird seed out late at night so them birdies can have a feed early the next morning (as I often do).

Then wait about an hour and go out to check around before going to bed you'll find slugs and snails rolling around in the seed having the time of their lives!!!

I don’t do that because I read that it encourages rats

Bird charities say we should feed them birdies all year round.

If you're concerned about vermin then consider lifting the feed off the ground and into a feeder.

Now be British and do your duty (before I come round and smash yer windows)

I feed the birds several times a day (RSPB member too) - I even have a blackbird that comes and looks in my kitchen window so I’ll pop some raisins on the window ledge for him. I just don’t put food out at night

Well done you

We have a local pigeon sits on our fence waiting for the extra feed it knows is about to arrive

And later the wood pigeon couple - late to the party as usual - look around in a haughty and disappointed manner ... every time

One for all you drivers out there...

Would you drive a car with only one foot pedal?

The Nissan Leaf does only have one pedal. You press down to accelerate and take your foot off to brake

It’s known as the E-Pedal...........

I found it hard to go from manual to automatic  i kept hitting the (big'ish) brake pedl where i would need the clutch. So from me it's a no.

Yes.

I have been contemplating buying one recently.

Watching someone else fall is hilarious

But when I fall

Oh yeah?  what if it's someone elderly that breaks bones and doesn't get over it. Or what if it's someone that hurts themselves so badly that they can't walk again and ends up in a wheelchair or something like that.   You really have no compassion do you?
