It's a trade off really. Pay a subscription with no ads or put up with them for free. I kinda don't mind a few of them if it means I can keep the site free. I occasionally click through some ads in the hope they get a bit more revenue. Same with this site, I have clicked through ads to Amazon, HMV etc and purchased something.
Actually it would be nice if a mod could tell us if doing so helps the site get a bit of cash in.

i had a strange experience earlier..driving down this road & i could hear screaming & then further down i saw these women/girls all muslim & a right old sort of fight was going on & about 5 of the women were dragging this other woman to a car, i honestly thought they were kidnapping her..so i swerved in, dived out the car like i was in the professionals
and got the woman safe with me, who was still going ballistic & the others were going bonkers as well, it turned out, the woman had found out where her son lived, he'd married without permission, and his mom had lost the plot, she was slapping all the women
her daughter was telling me what was going on, she was shit scared, the son & his wife were hiding, the aunties & cousins were shouting & screaming, ive never seen a scrap like it!
the daughter asked me to pray for her mom..i said i would & i left, cos someone called cops & i thought id let them sort it
i was only going shopping lol
