I'm very excited about the release of the documentary Janis: Little Girl Blue. I bloody love Janis Joplin. This is one of my favourite tracks.
I'm a dopey sod, I put it in the wrong box.

When she finished her laundry she was all in a quandary And made it for the street like a hare Her escape was so urgent, she forgot her detergent And dropped all her clean underwear
Bye bye Television Centre!

To flip it, if you have had an abusive parent or parents then a valentine may be just the thing someone needs to make their life just a little better. I no longer have my father, but would not begrudge someone wanting love and happiness (even though I do think VD is just another commercial event).

I think it's such a shame as it is an iconic building.
I've just spent ages sitting in mud holding a 7 yr old girls head still after coming upon an awful car crash at the bottom of Sutton Bank.
An idiot over took us going down the bank, I said he's going to crash, we came around the next bend & the car was going over & over.
We stopped, all I could hear were children crying. I ran across, bashed Windows in & pulled them out. One of them said her neck hurt, so I just lay in the mud with her until the services arrived.
What was worse, the arsehole who was driving didn't seem to give a shit about the kids. He was straight on his phone.

Blimey! Shocking, Cinds!
I hope everyone is still in one piece.
Woah! Cinds! I hadn't actually gone to bed but just logged back on after seeing that
Well done you!! and I hope that driver gets his comeuppance
I'm still het up with adrenaline. It was all kind of surreal. But I have the number to call tomorrow to make sure Emily is ok.
Omg Cinds! Can't believe the driver didn't care! Fair play to you for looking after those kids, hope they are ok xx
Blimey Cinds ... let us know how she is.
Well done you x
Well done cinds! A good job you were there. My Dad was in one of the local emergency services and would never drive the family on that route preferring to divert through Coxwold, Wass and Ampleforth, a tradition we adhere to. I've probably used Sutton Bank four or five times in forty odd years!
Those children were lucky you were there to help them, Cinds.

Well done you Cinds. Sounds like you did exactly the right thing.
I hope the police check that idiots phone to see if it was in use at the time of the accident.
Happy to report all of the children involved are fine apart from a few cuts & bruises. Hopefully the arsehole who thought it was a good idea to do 70mph going down that bank got a bump on the head that knocked some sense in to him.
Well done Cinds, what a traumatic experience for you and everyone involved (apart from the driver, it seems) Happy to hear all is ok with the physically injured. Through experience, it may take some time for those involved to recover from the mental anguish this tends to cause.
I hope there is a case to charge the driver.
