Jen, I actually saw a shared post about those frozen earrings on Facebook but had no idea it was referring to your daughter!  How is she now?

I've been in Portugal for 9 days and wouldn't it just be my effing luck that it would piss down for 4 of those days and for Maddie to get the Measles??  I can honestly say I won't want a holiday next year after that experience.  Or maybe I need another holiday to get over that one.  She is fine now, thank God.  Back to full on mischief and beating her brothers up.

I keep meaning to come here more often but I seem to lose my train of thought as soon as I come online.

Hope you are all well xx

I understand how busy you are in RL now, but I do miss your posts on here.

It was a bit pants Yogi but we were just so glad she didn't get any worse as we saw 2 doctors over there who both said she was fine even though she was visibly unwell (sheet white, glazed eyes, purple eyelids, screaming nonstop oh and the rash that was absolutely everywhere!) and when I suggested Measles to both at separate visits they both scoffed at the silliness of the idea.  Saw our own GP as soon as we got back and she diagnosed it as soon as she saw her.

I can't adjust to this weather we're having.  When I left for hols it was mild and we had a bit of sunshine, came back to it being freezing and bucketing down.  And October just whooshed by!  I think it's time to give in and put the sandals and flip flops away

I took my little one in on Friday, they took her in and knocked her out at 9:10 she was back awake with me all done in about 40 mins and we were walking out the doors about 11. She was completely fine

What a rotten thing to happen on your holiday, and those docs were right chumps. Glad to hear your own GP was better.

 That's good news, Jen.

So Mummy is poorly and needs meds

She has osteoporosis and has been prescribed Fultium

I went to the pharmacy yesterday and happened to glance at the prescription. One twice a week.

Only to receive the meds today - take two every day!!

We queried this and the pharmacy confirmed they 'got it wrong'.

God only knows what would have happened if I hadn't glanced at that prescription ... considering all the other meds my Mum takes.
