SW chips are to die for! And eat as much as you want too - makes you feel so guilt free. **halo**

Even my kids prefer SW chips to oven chips.

I make them and the are great.

Have you tried the spag bol recipe?

Just wanted to say my daughter had her GCSE results today. She was mainly concerned with her Art grade (she wants to be a graphic designer) and not only did she get an A* she didn't drop one single mark. How anyone can get 100% for Art I don't know. Maths yes (she got an A in Maths btw ) but stuff like Art and English and Drama is a bit more wooly isn't it?

So I'm assuming she really IS good and I'm not just being a boring parent who thinks their child has a talent when they don't. Especially as I have no artistic talent whatsoever. Where this comes from I've not a clue.

And don't forgot the FREE curry sauce made with cauliflower!

I've been for the smallest procedure at the hosp this morning and it was a whole song and dance for a 5 second 'surgery'.  I had to wear a backless gown with my arse hanging out of it, be wheeled down in a bed, prepped and then the actual procedure (getting a skin tag removed) took 5 whole seconds, then I had to be wheeled back up and stay in bed for half an hour and force fed tea and toast and made to wee before I could escape

!  Bloomin eck!! Glad it's done though !

How the hell did you get tea and toast ? I was in for a couple of nights recently for an op, and there were patients roaming the ward like toast-seeking zombies - we could smell toast but we never saw it! Murder!

I have to say, our hospitals seem to be ok here.  The one I went to today was a private hospital that I'd never been to before but it was very efficient.  My appointment was for 10.30am and I was finished up in the theatre for 11.05am and the doctors and nurses were lovely.

Hospital toast is lovely

My OH's father was in our local hospital recently and actually wanted to stay longer because he said the service was so good!  I know there's loads of hospitals that aren't the best places to stay though so I'm thankful for ours.

I tried that too but the 'stalk' part was too thick so it didn't work

I know!!! And never mind white paper, what's the matter with using newspapers. I remember being a little whippersnapper and going to the chippy on a Friday night for my supper with 15p for a bag of chips, left open and walking home eating them.

Cinds

Have you seen the print that comes off on your fingers from the newspaper

For one reason or another I couldn't use the Metro today so needed to buy an all day bus ticket. I thought I know what I'll do, I'll go to the fish shop for my tea (they took the only bus off they had on from here when the Metro started that went straight to shop).  So I hadn't been for a good while. I was surprised to see it served in a box then put in the plastic bag

I don't know how to break it to you, but yes you will die, probably sometime before Wednesday tea time.  It's been lovely knowing you

Well.  I might just leave the bills til Thursday then.

I would.  I'm going to do all of my Christmas shopping in the January sales on the off chance that the world does indeed end in December.

My son wants an early birthday party this year (his bday is 21st Dec).  He said he doesn't want the end of the world ruining his party.  Never mind the world ending, a party is the most important thing!!

I said TRY.

I  read Moonbeams post on here yesterday re her amazing weight loss - well done to you and Soozy, you've both done really well . It inspired me to look at SW online but I couldn't really understand it. I lost weight before on WW (5 st in a year) so these posts have motivated me to go for it again. I have been trying to work out the new points system online but don't fully understand the 'weeklies' but I think it's about 250 points pw from reading the WW forum. Anyhow, I went to the supermarket today and stocked up on WW food. The price of it all!!  Why is it always crappy, unhealthy food on offer and cheap?
