He he is gorgeous.

I agree, he's a gorgeous lad.

lol Why do you call him Odd Kid?

We used to call him The Teen, the it kind of evolved in to Odd Kid, because he's almost 18 & isn't bothered about going out etc etc. It just amused us at the time & it stuck.

My poor boy dog is really ill.

For weeks he's been extra sleepy, he went for his annual check up 4 weeks ago & vet was quite happy with him. But over the last few days he wasn't even lifting his head when we came down in the morning, even when we stepped over him. Plus he's shaking constantly, and blood coming out of his mouth, but cannot see a source in his mouth.

Had him to the vets today, they found welts on his skin, but in places where he couldn't have chewed them. Did his bloods & his liver enzymes are elevated. Vet said she was not concerned as such unless he was drinking more water than usual, which he is. So he's on anti-biotics for a week & has to go back.

But he's like having a small child poorly. He just wants to snuggle in on our laps and snuggle his head in to us.

He is really. I just get frustrated that he doesn't leave the house, unless for school.

Don't worry, he'll soon find himself a nice girl and he'll start going out and about.

Poor Angus, I hope he gets better soon.

Aww, poor boy. I do know what you mean though.

We all love our four wheel drives.

I personally don't feel confident for him. But I'm prepared to let him go, but then the girl dog will be lost without her buddy. She was all over today when he was away at the vets.

I hope your wrong but I ken you're being pragmatic.

I'm gonna throw this in...I think you are great. Max life

Wowzers. Thank you

Cinds

Pooch is still kicking.   He's on his antibiotics now & has to go back on Tuesday morning after being starved for 24 hours for more blood tests, then we can take him away & feed him, then take him back the same day for them to do the same tests again when he has food in his system.  So I suppose until then we won't know anything.  However, he does seem a little bit brighter today, so that's a small relief.

We have the grandchildren visiting this weekend, so I've made them some treats for Easter as we won't see them again until May. They're egg shells, emptied & washed. Then I filled them with a sweetened soft cheese mixture, let that set. Then I added a tea spoon of lemon curd for the yolk & topped them with a mini gingerbread man soldier. Will give then sliced mango sticks to eat them with.

That's more positive, Cinds.
