we've just had an ounce of snow in birmingham

im wondering when the buses decide they cant run

taxi drivers start charging double fare

people start 'panic buying'

sometimes i worry that if i leave the freezer door open too long i might bring the country to a standstill

velveteen, i got some sleeping tablets from the pharmacy bit in asda-theyre best ones ive tried so far-only about £1.50 a pack, sleep aid i think theyre

and no-nothing to do with sir bob of geldof

these are asdas own brand-so you might not find them in tesco

have a look though-for at least an hour

cos you never know you might find them...

I hate the clean up after frying steak so I was gonna try it in the oven. Does anyone do it this way please and how long for generally? (Obviously it depends on the thickness and size.  Do I wrap it in foil of just leave it on the tray? Thanks in advance for any replies
