She's fine, thanks Rosie. I'm sure somebody gave her a bit of a kick because of the way she was walking and also being very jumpy but she's back to her naughty and sweet self now.

Oh how awful  Glad she's on the mend

A good dinner always sorts me out too Jen.  That and pints of cold milk!

I am guilt ridden tonight as my mate has just informed me that her daughter has tonsilitis.  This is the same friend who offered to have Madison for a few hours on Friday so I could sort my youngest boy out for halloween (make up etc) and I said yes.  So now she's been in contact with my friends daughter while she was sick.  She wasn't showing any signs of being sick when Maddie was there but was sick yesterday so Friday it was most likely working on her.  I feel shit for allowing her out and won't make that mistake again.  I am just praying she hasn't caught it

 Scarily realistic, Ells.

I don't watch it much any more but when I saw that Charlie was supposedly his son I kept saying Nick couldn't be old enough to have a son that age.  He doesn't look 62.

I'm not certain, but I think the character Nick Cotton is meant to be a lot younger - late 40s to early 50s. Declan Bennett, who plays Charlie, is 33. However I think his character is meant to be a bit younger,

Looking for inventive suggestions om how i should spend my winnings!

I won ÂĢ6 last Friday, maybe we could merge our winnings to use as capital to form a business.

I have a scratchcard here with ÂĢ2 on it.  Can I be a silent partner?  I don't want to do any of the work but I'll happily take some of the profits.  Can it be a food business?  I like food.

I could make 20lbs of Turkish Delight with this money, sell it at a 'street market' where the mark up on sweets is about ÂĢ30 per kilo, so that's around ÂĢ19.95 per pound, that would gross around ÂĢ399, less costs, so I would reckon from our ÂĢ10.70 we might net profit about ÂĢ350.

I'm in.
