I've not been around much. I had a total emotional episode the last few weeks and went from happy to sad to angry to numb then back to happy again. Why am I happy?

On the 1st of August I gave birth to my gorgeous boy Zachary. 4 weeks early but 7lbs and totally healthy and happy.

I'm enjoying a wee bit of me time just now while my husband watches him and the other kids are out of my face

He looks like Conor who is taking his big brother duties VERY seriously. Only home a day and he's like supernanny. If I need a nappy he's running shouting "I do it". At the moment he's sitting watching him sleep telling everyone else to shhhhhhhhh. The older ones are delighted coz I was a total moody cow the last few weeks but equally delighted at having him here at last. I feel fine thanks. Tired but happy. I might even have a wee dram later.

Has anyone heard from Suzy? She was due same time as me

I was weeding the back garden when I went into labour. Wasn't funny at the time but funny now. It took me ages to get down on my knees to do it (after asking the kids a hundred times to do it I got pissed off and did it myself). I was nearly done too. When I was in the hospital I remember shouting at the kids to get the rest done before I got home.  I've never gone full term Lee. Always early. Always healthy though. Conor's only 2 but he's a whizz with a baby wipe

I'm gonna PM Suzy just now. Last I heard she was confined to bed.

awww Carnelian.

Thanks Slinki,  I did feel quite emotional as it was the loss of a pet I was quite fond of.  They have to go, but the poor little thing died in spasms of agony, which is hard to watch - bless 'er.  I guess that's better than a long illness and the cheeky little bugger was even up to mischief earlier in the day!

Pets are part of the family and when you lose one it's hard. You were there for her though so she wasn't alone

I hate when that happens Sooz.  Maybe your weight loss will be more fortnightly than weekly?  That happened the first time I went to SW, not losing much on the week I'd been good then losing it on the weeks I'd been bad so I thought I was doing great and started having more bad weeks than good and then we realised what was going on.

I keep saying I'm starting it again but never get round to it

Urban Secrets with Alan Cumming.  I haven't watched the 2 I have recorded yet, I'm working my way through all of the BB's at the moment.  Is it the final this week?
