Aww Aimee sorry you're in pain. Can they give you something for it?

Just painkillers and they have given me a support bandage now the bruising has gone down but the doctor didn't like the look of my ankle, so pleased it's not broken though

Suppose that's something  Still sounds like a bad injury though. Torn tendons must be so painful!

Oh no! You poor thing Aimee    Could the GP give you something stronger for the pain?

Or something to help you sleep? When I broke my leg, at the start they gave me sleeping pills, cos it was so hard to sleep. If not sleeping pills [which can be addictive] then  promezathine/phenergan is a safer bet. Its an anthistamine that knocks you right out  You can even get it in the chemist.

Sounds like you're having a miserable time xx

before i remove your leg

(and i have all the correct equipment-please see above)

i recommend you elevate your bad ankle whilst lying down

your leg should be elevated as high as your shoulder

drink plenty of rum

if you see a pirate heading your way with a saw

tell him you know me & im in charge

get a loved one to feed you peeled grapes (most important for the road to recovery)

get a commode & watch a box set

drink more rum

Ask them for Oramorph Aimee. It's very good for shortiesh pain relief. It helped me a lot when I broke my arm.
