Cosi the weather is lovely, hot but not ridiculously hot, we had a storm on wednesday that cleared the air. I now can't wait for Sunday that's when everyone goes home leaving us 2 for the next week. Woooohoooo

I've just had my first win in the Euromillions 

 

A whole £3.30 BUT I had 2 tickets.....and won £3.30 on each!

Today I am officially an ex college lecturer ! ( been using up holidays the last three weeks or so, but that's me officially no longer employed! ) 

 

Got the keys to our new therapy training centre today  Well, it will be a therapy training centre, right now it's just  some rooms and lots of plaster dust ! 

( ohh and some massage couches ) 

 

Think I mentioned, I took on a training room in town a couple of months ago - it's good, but a bit lonely!  This new place came up unexpectedly and was too good not to go for ! Working jointly with a lecturer that escaped from the workplace last year , and it's magic ,, good team ! Brilliant feeling to be starting out again and to be able to do things the way we always wanted to ! 

 

Does it really help?  My OH sounds like a farm every night and I'm ready to smother him.

 

Between that and the snooze on the alarm in the mornings I can definitely see me committing a crime.

Congrats Slinki and all the very best for your new venture.  Glad you're sounding so excited about it

It does seem to Ells ... I got a bit panicky when all the littlies came home for the summer, as they filled all available bedrooms and I had nowhere to run to in the middle of the night when he went into full warthog mode. I tried it out of desperation, and I'm happy so far

 

Rexi I don't have anywhere to run to apart from the sofa and it's leather so it's too cold.  I even wake him up and sometimes (if I'm really sleep deprived and at the end of my tether) start an argument in the hope that he buggers off to the sofa but it very rarely happens.  My 2 sons snore too so no point in squeezing in beside them

 

Oblas will be tried tomorrow night......and maybe then I'll get some sleep!

Thanks Slinki,  I did feel quite emotional as it was the loss of a pet I was quite fond of.  They have to go, but the poor little thing died in spasms of agony, which is hard to watch - bless 'er.  I guess that's better than a long illness and the cheeky little bugger was even up to mischief earlier in the day!

Cheers Velvet, as a Norwich fan, I'd feel obliged to get a canary!  The Scummers    (Ipswich Town fans - assuming there are any left) call Norwich fans budgies.

Happy Yorkshire Day 

Haven't read all as writing so small on phone. Slinki I second, third and fourth 'you go girl' Still on hols, getting photo updates of kitchen can't wait to see it now. Boy cinds got bored after first week so flew home with his sisters on Sunday, so it's just me and my mister this week. There's been no naked swimming. Honest! *ninja*

OMG!!   Hugs AND kisses?  Who the hell are you and what have you done with our  Slinks?!        Very best of luck with it all Slinks..... hope it's all you dream it's going to be     (and I'm sure it will be!)
