I'm used to headaches but this is on another level.  Migraines are supposed to ease off after lying down in a dark room but this one has other ideas.  The sound of my own thoughts hurt!

I can barely see the laptop screen I have it dimmed so much but it is already making me worse so I need to give up for the night

Think I'll watch Transformers now in preparation for the 4th one this week.  I think I may be a little more excited than my son to see it.

I've had a migraine all afternoon, i took some migraleave and it went off but it's on it's way back right now

I used to get them loads when preg with the youngest so i feel your pain, as nothing they can give you touches it.... you just end up in bed with curtains shut. I HATE when you're reading and you get the 'aura' thing... ie spots and colours all over your vision.. you just know what's coming

I hope yours goes off soon Ells

Are you allowed ibuprofen? I always find if I'm out of the heavy stuff that they help.... A migraine is a swelling of the blood vessels in the head/behind the eyes. Anti inflammatory values in ibuprofen can help... A nurse told me that on the phone while i was crying to her that i didn't think i would make it down to the surgery but really needed help... i'm a sad sap lol

I'm not Jen, no  The co-codamol are strong though do they did the job last night.  I did wake in the night needing tablets but I think I actually have a throat or ear infection.  I have no idea where the pain is coming from!  It's just sore round my jaw, ear, throat and neck but doesn't hurt to swallow and I thought maybe wisdom tooth but can't feel anything in that area that would suggest it.

Ells

ION, has anyone tried Jacob's chive crispbreads?  I'm in love with these things!

Yummy with cheese and ham or just buttered on their own.  They've been keeping me going as snacks when trying to keep the diabetes under control so I don't start feeling sorry for myself having to eat healthy lol.  42 cals per cracker but they are about the size of a ryvita.

They do sound very tempting

I had a really odd dream last night, 2 German Shepherd dogs attacked me, but they only latched on to my hands. They wouldn't let go, just kept digging their teeth deeper and deeper, someone strangled the one that had hold of my right hand, I don't know how the one on the left went, but then I was all alone with nobody to help me wash the wounds.

Dream analysts any ideas as to what that was all about?

Get your butt to the docs if you're not sure, a quick check over is all it takes x

I got mine cut to just above my shoulders when I found out I was pregnant.  It was very liberating lol.  I only kept it so long so I could curl it/wave it when going out but usually had it tied up during the day.  Now it's growing again and I'm considering getting it cut short again as I doubt I'll be out much once the baby is born.

A very cheap remedy for migraine (for me) is a pair of tights tied round my head a few times.  Creates pressure and relieves the headache usually.  Nothing worked this time until the doctor gave me cocodamol which were great.
