My Mums neighbour died this morning. It has really upset her - she lives in an Old Folks bungalow development and she got on really well with him. She is a propah suverener and a lot of the old folk don't really get her - he was a bit different - very dry sense of humour.

I feel really sorry for her - she is 83 and not in good health. Quite a few of them have died since she moved there 6 years ago - I think it makes her very aware of her own mortality. This particular neighbour was younger than her. When she moved in he knocked on her door with a big smile and said 'Welcome to Gods waiting room' - so sad - prophetic words.

RIP dear Peter!

It does amuse me that the Merry Widows form alliances with people they used to hate decades ago.

Meanwhile, this morning I shaved off my beard and 'tache.

Yes I always find that quite funny, I suppose it's any port in a storm.

How awful ..................are they friends of the family? Dreadful when something like that happens close to home.

Horrible Aims... gotta feel for his father.

My dad said his dad will be better off now as he was afraid of the son, he only lost his wife a year ago and he couldn't cope with him, not a nice thought I know, he also said they should grab the two youths that turned up every night with the drugs and show them what they've done

It's horrible, I hate to think I will get to be that old and have seen my parents, my sisters, and my friends die. I'll be happy to go once the boy is settled in his adulthood.
