Oooooooooooooh what will it be? We'll have to wait and see ...............and for some ridiculous reason this popped into my head

I don't really like it when people find out the sex of the baby in the womb and I'd love to say 'Don't tell me .......I want a surprise' but - I really will have to know

Good Luck Ells

I would have plumped for cheesecake - what sort is it Jen?

Just a simple vanilla one to start with, I bought a load of baking stuff to do a sponge but by the time i'd finished shopping and cooked dinner the cheese cake was the quicker option lol

Kate.  Mmmm

I can't believe after all the iffy pictures that have hit the papers over the time nobody's advised her to wear big knicks when she's on duty.

To be honest I think she has got it just right.

No real need to change

I need a really big spending spree soon though

A pink spending spree.

I have three sons, so when we found out my first grandchild was a girl, it was fantastic to be able to buy pink things.

I think I'll buy a few pinks things obviously but I hate seeing little girls dressed head to toe in pink, in a pink pram with pink blankets!

Aww, it will be lovely for your MiL to buy some pink things after all those boys.

I like babies in pastel colours (I'm old fashioned) and my DiL dressed my granddaughter in white, pink, lemon and aqua colours when she was tiny. Once she started crawling about, DiL opted for darker leggings but kept the tops in light colours. We reckon she will be a tomboy when she is older, so this might be our only chance to keep her in girly stuff.

TBH - when I was pregnant I adored my boys so much that I wanted another boy - so glad I got a girlie though - it's lovely to have both!

TBH on the drive home I was a bit upset because I had been calling the baby 'he' and had been imagining what he'd look like etc and now I won't get to see him.  My boys were such lovely babies.

I am really happy to be having a girl though, I had secretly wanted a girl but had convinced myself it was a boy so I would be prepared for that news at the scan.  Now I just need to let it sink it.

Aimee.....ooohhhh I know!  My problems with the eldest will be a walk in the park compared to having a teen girl!!

I'm so pleased you said that, I was thinking it but didn't want to rain on the parade I'm not a huge fan of the pink for girls blue for boys thing anyway - I hated pink as a kid I think they sometimes look like tiny little marshmallows

FINALLY!!!! MY paving slabs are being laid in the garden ............after a speedy start it all came to a bit of a juddering stop. Absolutely amazing the difference in quotations we received. Our regular guys are good - I really like them and have been happy with their work. The quote on the garden though was

Almost as much as the price of our first house. The guys we're using seem to be doing a good job - I'm getting a tad excited. I think/hope it's gong to look amazing so by my reckoning that means you can all kiss goodbye to a beautiful summer
