Just seen this ..........don't know Ells - I was wondering the same myself. The thing is the OP posted it a few days ago and hasn't been back. I'm losing sleep over this I tellya

I could have murdered you yesterday for posting it.  I spent ages trying to figure it out but haven't given it any thought today.  Knowing whether the 18 is important is a vital piece of info though.  I wish your OP would come back and give more clues OR just give the bloody answer!

I did the 26(?) peaks of Malvern as a teen with a school residential, getting to that last peak was very satisfying took a long time!

It is when you're a bunch of 'lazy teens' who stayed up giggling in the dorms the night before!! Was really good though

I remember doing a similar trek over the South Downs as part of a school trip – I’m sure the teachers added this “activity” to knacker us just to ensure they got a quiet evening!

Thanks Sprout. It was quite a while ago now and he seems to be well over it once the wounds had healed.

Aww a little Westie, I love them.

Angus is fine, to use a phrase he's "licking his wounds".

I felt awful because I'd noticed the missing teeth first and focused on that, so it was ages after he was home that I noticed the teeth gashes in his chest. I made a saline solution up and have been bathing the wounds. He'll be fine.

Renton, if you go back a page or 2 you will see a pic of Angus watching TV with Mr C.

I've just had a craving for fish and chips so rang in an order.  She asks do I want red or white fish.  Hmmmm that threw me, it was too big of a choice to make on the spot but I opted for red as I like the saltiness of it.

Got the bag home and the smell of the fish told me I'd made the wrong choice.  It was rotten.  And now I'm going to be hungry in half an hour again.
