Soozy i can say with hand on heart, Heroes is amazing, totally engrossing.

And it took 3yrs to screen on TV so there is plenty to get your teeth into.

Four episodes in and i'm hooked!!

Watch the first three and if your not totally satisfied you will get a refund - hold on . . . that's not quite true.

Go on give it a try

Sorry to hear that Jen - what's going wrong?

While you suffer listen to this ...

Our 20yr old CREDA EXEL 1200 washer broke a few days ago.

Off to Currys and got a nice deal on a Zanussi.

Delivered at 10am this morning

Problem - the hoses connecting the washer were jammed in the open position.

Mum forgot to tell them we had on/off connections in the shoe cupboard.

So the delivery guys left.

Cue muggins here calling plumbers all morning - ÂĢ45 call out charge.

Bright idea - i'll drive around the corner to see if the local plumber was home - at least that house had a plumbing van in its drive way last week.

Only for yours truly to spot a big red van called HomeServe.

Ooooh!!

Mr.Cheeky (thats me) knocked on the door and asked the old woman if he was there - he was!!

I asked if he'd take a look - he said yes!!

He fixed the problem and disconnected the old pipes!!

Now wasn't that nice

Oh this has made me feel slightly better

The guy turned up at 11 and needed to measure how many tiles he had to buy.... (He spent the whole frikking day here yesterday taking the old tiles off and plastering the wall! You'd think he would have worked out how many tiles he needed!) So he walks in pretty much walks straight back out after a quick measure....

Comes back at about 11:30 and sits in his van eating his lunch....... So he actually started working at about 12.......  Tiles 2 walls above the bath (its a very small bathroom) and 'runs out' of adhesive so he has to leave at 4pm.. While he's showing me what he's done before he goes i notice he's cut one of the tiles at the top of the wall wonky..... God I'd love to own my home and choose who does any work on it!

It begs to wonder why you had to point it out to him in the first place Jen

Mine is a council house and we had major renovations of the bathroom, kitchen, (they where gutted), the roof and re-wired. I have to say they where pretty speedy and made a great job...

I concur with Saint.

Though the first series is the by far the best. After that it goes off the boil slightly.

I would definitely categorise this child as precocious. I can see him being an absolute handful when he is older.

Little *Bleep*  - i'd thrash his arse til it bled LOL

Very bad language removed! - Jen

The panels are sleek and contemporary, they will also be easy to clean.

I can't wait to get the tiles down ,they are so old fashioned now .

And tiles are murder to clean - I can never get the grout pure white

How are you, is your bruising all gone? Hope you haven't done yourself any lasting damage.
