They're doing the removal of a window and brick work today.  Well they were, but now we have tropical storm Toon going on, things might have ground to a halt.

When they were assembling the scaffolding this morning, I went out and said "I don't know the lengths peeping Toms well go to these days is ridiculous".

My blood ran cold, reading that. Thank goodness the lad didn't get into the car.

The lad just ran back to his Nans house, this was right near another school too. It's scared me, i'm so glad the kid was clever enough to leg it.

My daughter (11) catches the bus to and from school just down the road from where it happened... I'm gonna be putting her on the bus for while again i think. I just hope they catch them!!

At 11 you really think they are safe to go get the bus for school or even walk home from school (depending how far away it is) but scarily there was an attack here a week ago when an 11 and a 13 year old were sexually assaulted by a 15 year old boy while they waited for their school bus at 8:15am!!!  The younger girl got away and got help but the 13 year old had suffered for a few minutes before help came  Poor kids must be traumatised!

They all want a bit of responsibility and freedom but you have to keep them safe too, being a parent is bloody tough sometimes!

Effing right!!  It seems to get harder the older they get too!

I heard the boy has had a rough upbringing with parents who are drunk all day and he's been in trouble a lot of times before but they seem to do nothing about it.  I wouldn't have any sympathy for him if it were my daughter or niece but hearing how he has been left to fend for himself from a young age makes me feel a wee bit sorry for him in the sense that maybe he wouldn't do these things if he had a better upbringing.

I turn into a right scally when it comes to people hitting or bullying my kids.

I had a dream about this place last night.

Gagajoyjoy was a 'real' place but set out in a church yard with the buildings within it being the different 'threads'.  The church itself was this random thread (how fitting) and we were all there to begin with but scattered quickly when we realised a murder was on the loose.

It was all very 'Dexter' style, the murderer stabbed people through the chest then wrapped them in big sheets of cling film.

Anyway, long story short....as people died their name got crossed off a list of names that was just floating in the air (kinda like a video game image) and my name wasn't on the list.  This was because I had signed into the church using my real name instead of my screen name here.  The killer had crossed her name off the list quite early so as not to be a suspect but at the end of the dream I followed some red votive candles to find CINDS was the murderer and she stabbed me twice whilst shouting at me 'My name is Lisa, okay LAURAAAAAA' in a really strange way.  Then I woke up.

Ells! That's slightly weird but absolutely brilliant.

Poor Cinds...   wait til she finds out what she's been up to in dreamland.

It means I'm crazy and my dreams are getting weirder

It was actually all very creepy at the time....and for some reason the red candles are the part that stood out most to me.

Sounds like the old Hammer Horror films? Eeeeeeek

Just google'd what dreaming of red candles means:

First of all they were all lit candles, there were some larger unlit candles but the important ones were smaller and lit....and pointing me in the direction of cinds lol:

To see a burning candle in your dream signifies that good luck and hope will be coming your way in small and steady amounts. You are in a comfortable stage in your life and may be seeking spiritual enlightenment. Lit candles are also symbolic of intellect, enlightenment, awareness or the search for truth.

And the red:

To see a red colored candle in your dream symbolizes some intimate or romantic relationship. You may not be giving the relationship a fair chance and are dismissing it before you invested sufficient time to learn more about the other person. On the other hand, you may just not be feeling any chemistry or passion.
