Anyway, the replacement is ordered, but because I am insisting it has Windows 7 Pro on and not Windows 8, it's a special order, so should either arrive tomorrow or Thursday.

I still managed to help my mate with her Sage Accounts lessons. So I feel a bit better about that.

Until the replacement lappy arrives, apart from answering the phone at work, there's not much I can to, so I've had some unexpected days off.   So after cleaning an already clean house, I have prepped tomorrows lunch, and tomorrows evening meal.  I've spent the rest of tonight doing mosaics.  Very calming.

Hopefully something will show up on the TV, and good about your mate

I don't mind at all, I'm used to boys.  A girl would be nice though because I know if I have another boy then in a few years I might want to try for a girl

Erin, I think my Mother in law is really hoping I break the all boys theme for her.  She'd love a grand-daughter after having all boys and grandsons.

My mum was the same ,we all went mental when my niece was born, she is our princess.

I'm glad the scan shows that all is well, Ells.

I've got three sons and loved having boys, but when our first grandchild was a girl, it was fantastic to be able to buy pink!

Ells, how fabulous that you have a picture of your little growing bud.

Have you been OK, sickness or that awful early pregnancy tiredness?

Yes, I imagine everyone would love a girl now, but at the end of the day who cares what flavour they are, as long as they hare healthy.  When Mam was expecting me, they were desperate for a boy after 4 girls.  They got me, a nice mixture of both.  (I don't have a tiny penis hidden away, but I was a right tomboy when I was little)

Cinds

Exactly Cinds, as long as the baby is healthy then I'm happy.

I have been a bit nauseous in the evenings and the headaches are unbearable some days but apart from that I'm fine  I've gone off everything I love and am picking at foods trying to find things to keep me going.

I've just sat and ate a huge bowl of diced cucumber and tomato with an olive oil and balsamic dressing.....it was so nice I'm contemplating having another bowl!

Ells

Do it Ells.  Eat it, and to be honest it sounds lovely.  I might have that tomorrow.   (I make olive oil and balsamic dressing and add a tiny bit of sugar, it's lovely)

When I was first pregnant, I was so ill.  All that kept me going was sipping water and to force any food in to me it had to be covered in mustard (and I really dislike mustard).

I remember being on a metro in Washington DC at 6 am going to work, and I was sipping a bottle of water, an employee of the Metro came over and started going at me for having a drink on the train, which was a huge NO.  I said to him 'look I either sip this water or vomit on your train, which would you prefer?'

Cinds

I had intended to make cucumber, tomato, peppers, onion and fresh chillies but I decided I wanted something a little bit milder.  I've now ate a whole large cucumber but it was so lovely.  That's my first time making my own dressing and I know it'll be a regular thing now.  I'll try the sugar too and see how I like that.

Aww this evening sickness is no good at all, with the IBS along with it I never know which end I should stick on the loo!!  Thankfully I haven't thrown up at all but it's the constant feeling of needing to that drives me mad in the evening.

Ells

When I was pregnant with my boys I never had food cravings. With my daughter (the youngest) I lived on (dry) Carrs Water biscuits, raw carrotts, red apples and cream cheese with walnuts (soft cheeses was ok for pregnant women back then).

For the last four months of pregnancy that's all I ate for breakfast, lunch, dinner and in betweens. I guess my body was telling me the nutrients it needed.

Freestyle skier, Rowan Cheshire, following the training accident that left her hospitalized with concussion on Sunday! TeamGB have not ruled out the possibility that Cheshire could still compete later in the weekâ€Ķ

TeamGB have decided that Cheshire won't compete. Not enough time between the injury occurring and her event starting appears to be the line - which seems reasonable... and at 18 i'm sure her long-term potential would alo be a consideration.

Out supporting her male Freestyle teammates who competed today.

TeamGB in the half-pipe following their final practice session on Wednesday.  A nice touch that both skiers are fully attiredâ€Ķ even though only bib 21 Emma Lonsdale will now be competing.
