My mother in law is always getting into the wrong car.  She's not even old but she IS a bit dotty!!

She got in to the front seat one day and said to her brother who was driving 'aww hurry up I really need the toilet, I'm bursting'.  The driver just stared at her for a minute and she actually looked at him and said 'hurry the f*ck up' before she realised he wasn't her brother and that wasn't his car.  She didn't even realise that the man she was LOOKING at wasn't her brother.  I know she has bad eyesight but that's just ridiculous.

She has, on many occasions, gotten into the wrong car or opened the back door and threw her shopping on the back seat before rushing into another shop before realising her mistake.

Does she get embarrassed when she realises her mistake or does she just laugh?

She is mortified Yogi but she laughs it off and the drivers have never (so far) been offended or annoyed at her.

I know it's terrible but if we're waiting outside the shops for her my OH always says lets see if she can find the right car and won't beep at her until the last second when she's about to open the door of a different car.

That's exactly what my hubby would do.

Haha!  Sorry for the late reply but I didn't see this last night.

That's why I hate predictive. I want it to say what I want it to, not what it thinks I want it to

With reference to the wrong car thing. I once went to the shop in the car, bought what I needed, go back in the car, and say there thinking 'I know somethings wrong, but I don't know what'.  Took me several minutes to realise I was in the passenger seat.  Did I get out and walk around to the drivers side.  NO, I shuffled across.

Oh aye, I didn't think she'd gone yet.  Lucky duck!

On 'what have you done today' thread she posted that she had walked round the magic Kingdom ,so that's why I think she is in Florida.

Either way, it's very sad.

It's the need to keep looking young that gets me Ells

Brilliant day shopping in Manchester, lovely dinner out with my kids and a FAB-U-LOUS night at SCD. Great atmosphere, gorgeous costumes, super dancing and the devine Aliaz even better in the flesh.

Can't decide on my favourite dance of the night really, loved Kevin and Susannahs Paso Doble, Abbeys quick step and although I'm not a fan, Nathalies jive was A-MAY-ZING.

The final two couples were Kevin and Susannah and Nathalie and Artem. Nathalie and Artem were the winners. No denying -she is a fab dance, I voted K&S. Can't believe his energy .......he's like an over excited puppy and puts in at least 50% more than any of the others. Gotta admire his enthusiasm and .............he is from Grimsby you know
