I've just gone to check my programmer.  I can choose to have it 'on' or timed once or twice in a day or off     It's set at 'off' - maybe if it's set at timed it doesn't give you instant hot water?

Well if I put it on its warm enough to do the dishes but I don't think you could have a bath straight away, with the old back boiler the longer you had the heating on the more hot water you had

This doesnt fill me with confidence, they came.... delivered the boiler and pipes etc. Then the guy tells me they are no longer doing the radiators...... looks at the pipes etc. upstairs and says they cant do it without them.... lol So he was on and off the phone for an hr and had to leave... saying its a two man job and they need to change the order to include the radiators.

The trouble has started already  I ended up with 2 New radiators instead of 5

Prepare for an ear bashing. I have the builders in again They're outside at the mo building a chimney stack - we are having a log burner fitted. I can't believe that everything's gonna be turned upside down and inside out just before Christmas.

You all know how my decorating 'sagas' go on and on!

It didn't Aims I've got a boxed boiler and copper pipes in my living room until Friday.... I have a horrible feeling it will still be there over the weekend!

Me either! Mind you, there's allsorts wrong with my house (heating wise) that a lottery win or someone paying my bills for me wouldn't cure

Got my desk top publishing exam this afternoon. Starting Excel next week (as long as I pass this afternoon). All good fun. Perhaps I should do a course on computer maintenance/health ......do seem to unintentionally make every PC a little bit poorly

I'm gonna see if my son fancies it .....my girlie might at a push but she has a more refined taste than her old mum. More mature and all that.

the exam was fine .....nothing too unexpected - think it went OK will find out next week.

Cold in the house tonight , they've taken my fire out and there's a bit of a bole in the wall. Mr Woo and I are having a heated(pardon the pun) discussion about which log  burner to get.

The devil child is coming home from uni tonight, if her dad's remembered to fetch her  please pray for me

Awww Cinds  i do feel for you. It's many years since  I lost my dad - he was only 58 ...........Me and my sis were only talking about him on the phone yesterday. My mum is 82 and in poor health ......it is a worry but there really is nothing we can do ......other than worry.

Haven't seen the ad - I'm off to Google.

Thanks ladies.  He's OK, I suppose it just hits you that they won't be here forever when something like this happens.

Glad your Dad is ok Cinds.  Hope things stay that way and the docs will monitor him carefully. It must be very worrying for you
