I'm so excited. Having a custom bobblehead made of Mr Cinds in his sky diving gear made for him for his birthday, just had the first proofs through and apart from a couple of minor adjustments needed its looking really good.

That sounds like a really cool gift Cinds, does he know about it?

No, his birthday is so close to Christmas I always struggle to get 2 gresurprises

A friend of mine is in tonight's episode of Vera. 

My mum got 4 numbers on the lotto last night and the 2 other numbers she needed she had on her second line 

I'd cry ... I swear I would cry and never stop

She wasn't happy  she won £67 

That's terrible for four numbers! Should be at least a couple of thousand

It was only £27 on Wednesday, the prizes are terrible recently

It's not worth playing tbh Aims, you think how often you get 4 numbers and the prize only slightly better than the £10 for three!

 

Whenever i fancy the lottery i try the irish one

Off out birthday shopping for lil AIms in a bit but I have no idea what to get her was going to get her a watch she's been going on about but she's told her dad to get it her  she does this every year, she tells everyone the same thing and then wonders why she gets duplicate presents

I hate buying for a couple of family members cos they are so hard to come up with ideas for... so a lot of the time I'm not happy with what i eventually buy them.

I once had 5 numbers and the 6th was 1 digit away, something like 14 and the 6th number was 15. Won £1500.00 (and the odd pounds).  Came in very handy as it was the beginning of December.

My sister in law got 5 last year and won nearly 3 grand 

Just got her some clothes, perfume and a curling wand going in to town tomorrow to get the rest.

I love the dentist knocking out drugs, it's like a scooby doo ending. I also just love the smell of the dentists, hmmmmmm cloves.

Has anyone ever seen the movie (I know my first name is Steven) or read the story about Steven Stayner a boy who was kidnapped aged 7 and over the next seven years abused by his kidnapper until at 14 his captor took another young boy and Steven managed to escape taking the other child with him?  Steven sadly died in a motorcycle accident when he was in  1989.

 

Anyway, it's a story that has always stuck in my head, last night we were watching a documentary about the Yosemite serial killer, who it turns out is Steven Stayners brother. 

 

I just found it interesting that one brother is hailed a hero (and had a statue built in his honour) for rescuing the other child from a life of abuse, and the other becomes a serial killer.

Cinds I have heard of him before and the story but I have never read the book or seen the movie but I wouldn't mind reading the book.

I remember seeing the film, it was such a tragic story.

My BiL texted at 5am this morning..   simply saying "its a girl "

 

so that is all we know at the moment...     we are all waiting for the other details..  weight, name..   how his girlfriend is, how the birth was (I know his gf had been crapping it over the last few weeks)...  

 

 

but YAAAAY!  

 

 

Some good news!   

 

Hopefully we'll get to meet our little neice next weekend when we take Ickle back to London for the start of Uni (when hopefully the MiL has been shoo'ed off and some of the baby madness had started to die down)
