Anyway, I thought about you today EC (hope that doesn't scare you too much) but Electric Dreams came on the radio. Turned it up LOUD. 

 

I thought I felt me ears burning 

 

We had an 80's radio station on today at work, lots of classic 80's tunes being played. 

I forgot how much I bloody love this track.

 

 

I can't say I have ever heard that song Cinds, but back in 1981 I was into a whole different genre of music or to be precise genres. But I do like it when I pull an old loved tune from the back of my memory and give it a listen.

I have spent ALL DAY doing my gardens.... The front one is big and takes alot of time to get looking half decent.... I did all the back and alot in the front. My brother rang me as i was finishing and i said "I'm knackered" wish i hadnt as it's all the little one has said since!!!

I've just ordered a lot of poppy seeds for my garden.  I love poppies.

 

I think in total I have ordered about 25,000 seeds.  I plan to germinate the whole street. 

But but but (etc) they spread like weeds.

Very clever, but I imagine there are husbands/boyfriends all over the world getting very irate about their stretched T-shirts.

I'm guessing there's been a terrible accident somewhere close by. A1 heading north is at a stand still. By the sounds of it every police car from the police station close by is in attendance. Fire Engines in abundance and a helicopter. Not good.

According to local road watch pages, 4 vehicles involved. Although looks like the traffic has started moving again now.

I hope nobody has been badly hurt and it's just vehicles that have been damaged.

I've just thought, I haven't seen pirate around for a while, I hope he's just on holiday. Hopefully if he saw this he saw the play on words & didn't think I was really going to take the pee

i was tempted to refer to my side access as my back passage when extolling the virtues of my house to the estate agents ... but refrained! 

I did post this first, so it must have lurked around in my mind.  See I would have used that term while keeping a deadpan face to see what his reaction would have been.  I used to take great joy in telling a very innocent neighbour how much I admired her bush.

 

I was at the garden centre yesterday (again) & the young gentleman serving me hadn't put a reduced price through for a tray of violas I had bought.  Anyway he calls a supervisor to help & said to him "I just need to do a refund for the pansy", quick as a flash I said "now here there's no need to start calling me names".  The poor kids face was a picture not knowing how to react, while the supervisor & I cracked up laughing. Oh well, maybe you had to be there.

Lil AIms has just text me, she's gone to V festival today and all her clothes and sleeping bag are wet already, she ain't happy 

 

Going to have to go on a search of the house, something keeps ringing and there's only me in the house 

I've just watched a rather amusing video called "why you shouldn't watch porn in the same room as your parrot".  Unsure of whether I am allowed to post it on here so won't just in case.

 

Aimee how do you know that whatever is ringing you is coming from inside the house? 

It was loud, it sounded like it was coming from upstairs but I was busy at the time so didn't go and look, lil AIms can't have left her phone as she's text me, I'll look in her room in a minute

We were having a bit laugh earlier on about the famous role model Tommy Duckworth situation. We remain grateful to the news media for letting us know about his videos as we aren't in the habit of searching for violent rape material!

No wasn't mine and I didn't recognise the tune, found her BlackBerry but it's switched off  have to see if it rings again
