Aww.. hope he's ok Soozy - I'd be worried too, but I worry over anything. It's a tough situation, you don't want him to miss out if he's going to wake up right as rain in the morning.
Awwww I've a headache. Poor me.
And I'm dying for a big Sunday dinner but my kids are away to their grannys so I'm not cooking just for me.
Anyway got any spares? *begging smiley*
Soozy I've got my fingers crossed that he's fine for his trip.
Ells I'm making fish pie if you want some.
I've got a rotten headache too, I'm putting it down to being all sinus blocked.
Sounds yummy Jen but I really want spuds. Maybe spuds, steak, mushrooms, green beans and pepper sauce. Oh and roasties.....can't forget the roasties.
Omg my tummy is rumbling
I've just flicked past T4 and saw this girl. Is she the long lost sister of a rizzle kick?
Cinds I'm on ebay looking at tiles and I saw those ones you're getting for ÂĢ8.07. It's only a few pence savings but if you have loads to buy then you'd save quite a few quid.
Don't you just hate it when your neighbours are having an almighty barney and you can't understand them cause they are talking in a different language i need a translator you can always smell curry (she must make tons of the stuff) and it just sounded like she throw a saucepan across the garden and my other neighbour just said thats the curry gone
My grandson is going on a PGL trip to France with the school. The coach leaves at midnight tonight. He's been a bit off since Friday night - today he has a sore throat. I've told his parents to take him to the drop in GP at the hospital (can't really believe I've had to tell them that ). He is allergic to penicillin - I'm a bit worried for him TBH. There are a couple of kids in his class with tonsillitis - I do hope he's OK.
Aww Sooz,I agree with you his parents need to have him checked out at home before he travels to France...If he needs meds he'll have them to take with him rather than him possibly becoming worse and needing to be seen by a doctor over there who doesn't know his medical background...Fingers crossed it's something minor he recovers quick and has a great time on his trip.

*drools* Could you deliver? I'm in my PJs still and can't face getting dressed. That sounds delicious though.
I'm having toasted sunrise bread now with real butter.....do you get that bread down there?

Yes that's it.....bloody delicious with real butter!
I've just packed my lot off. We had Roast chicken and pork, roast pots, cauliflower cheese, savoy cabbage, carrots and green beans - yorkie puds. Chocolate meringue roulade with strawberries.
My grandson has been to the GP unit - been given paracetomol and ibuprofen but the doctor didn't prescribe anti- biotics (I wish he had as a precaution) - one of his best friends was there with the same symptoms and he was prescribed anti biotics - fingers crossed that it's not just a case that Harrys hasn't developed yet. Anyway - he was a bit brighter and did eat some dinner (he never eats much anyway) - I shall be off up to the school to wave him off at midnight - I'm a bit .

Cinds if you want a really good holiday read - 'The Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood' - I promise you you'll love it. One of my faves - laughter and tears and sisterhood. BRILLIANT READ - honestly.

That is a brilliant book
I'm re-reading Michael Moore books just now, he;s a bit of a wee smug git , but dead funny
I've bought the 50 Shades of Grey books for my hols - I hope they aren't that erotic as I am going with two girlie friends!!
I really, really want to live near the sea.
I really, really want to live near the sea.
I'd love a beach house - i'd love to hear waves breaking outside my window - I actually line 9 miles from Cleethorpes ...................but it's not really the seaside
I really, really want to live near the sea.
Oh me too - it was always our dream to sell this house when the kids are all gone and buy a small house here, and a small one by the sea - probably Devon.
The last child goes in September ... will we be brave enough?
I doubt it
I'm reading Victoria Hislops - The Thread - it's a good read. The Shades of Grey books don't appeal - I think they're very poorly written from what I've heard - I do like a book to be well written even smut.
I really, really want to live near the sea.
I do, but it's a bus/metro ride away I've got a fascination with the sea and shipsy things
The seafront is 1/2 a mile away from where I live.
And thank god that it is; it'd drive me nuts to live on the seafront.
Thankfully I'm in a village - the main towns are a nightmare when the sun's out.

I wouldn't have to live right on the seafront, just somewhere I could see the sea ( see?!)
Mind you , Soozy's beach house sounds nice..
chip 'oles !

And yeah, the beach house does sound nice as long there's a British summer to go with it.

ahhh no , the beach is lovely when it's stormy as well
( spoken like a true Scot! We're good at storms ! )
You're a crazy hardy lot, it's true I prefer the sea to be like a millpond and the sun to be a-blazing. Anything less and I'm reaching for me thermals!
Appro-pro nothing: I've just scoffed a large plate of meringue, clotted cream and marinated strawberries. This will not show on my thighs/belly/double chin in the morning
I live about half a mile from the beach too - and always thought a house on the beach would be fabulous. I know someone though that does live right on the sea... so much so that on a high tide/rough sea the water laps into the garden below (she's on the first floor) It's nice when it's calm and sunny - and when the tide is in it's like looking out from a boat! She has a balcony - which is gorgeous in the summer, but downside is maintainng a property that gets sprayed with salt water every day...the windows are rotten, and they never look clean and there's sand in the downstairs hallway...

Yeah - I've thought about that - I wouldn't like that bit at all.

I would! It's a good excuse !
Please excuse the mess.. the sea did it and ran away !
I live close to the sea, when its stormy my windows get covered in salt.I can hear the waves most of the time ,but cant see much of it unless I walk out to the cliffs a couple of minutes away.
