If you've had a care package assembled you'll be out of the hospital asp. Don't be nervous, he was and breezed it. I'll be thinking of you. I hope you've got some way to let us know how it went?  Take care luv.

Seems like it was a day for it yesterday at the drop zone Mr C jumps at.  He was injured when jumping in windy conditions, thankfully he only suffered badly bruised heels and is struggling to walk.  But then this one happened shortly after.  The guy airlifted to hospital is the same instructor Master C was strapped to.

A parachute instructor has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after crashing to the ground at a County Durham airfield.

Early reports suggest the 58-year-old's chest was struck by his student's head after landing hard at the Peterlee Parachute Centre when a gust of win caught the chute they were flying in tandem.

A Great North Air Ambulance helicopter crew flew the man, who is from the Gateshead area, to the James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough, where his injuries have been described as severe.

Just kidding, I just seemed to be on a roll with the questions.

Archie is doing brilliantly Cinds, he drank 20mls from a bottle on Sat and had a little bit of milk from the breast too!! They moved him from a hot cot to a 'normal'  one now that he's back optiflow.... they needed the holes in the hot cot for the tubes etc... (even though he's been maintaining his own temp for a while)

Holiday was really good.... very packed with activities and I'm totally shattered! My dad though... He was like a  big kid lol 61 and going on all the rides with the kids... we even dragged him onto a slow 'rapids' flume that goes outside which was good until he plopped off the end and sank... i literally lifted him up and propped him on the side to catch his breath bless him.

And considering i got home about an hour and a half ago with 2 suitcases of washing for tea it's chippy (it's being bought as i type a lot cheaper and nicer than the chippy in Butlins too!!... I really didnt rate the chippy there tbh)

I might put up some pics of Archie and a couple of hol later/tomorrow x

Brilliant to hear the little man is doing so well. Twenty ml of milk, what a porker!!!!

I'm guessing the hospital has had your SiL in the neo natal dairy room to help maintain her flow of milk. (That's what I called it anyway, as I felt like a cow at the dairy having the milk sucked out of me mechanically). Bless her she must have been thrilled to bits to be able to get him on the breast.

He sounds like he is making amazing progress.

Glad to hear your hols went great too. I just hope you haven't got the god awful rain we have at the moment so you can get all of the holiday laundry out on the line to dry.

Chippy, sounds like a great plan.
