I don't mind piercings Jen - they can always be taken out. Same daughter has had two in her chest bones ... and two in her lower belly - lower than the belly button - higher than the pubes.

In every instance her body rejected the piercings after about two months.

Shame that

She's now got a nose job When she first had it done I told her she'd have to wear a blue catering plaster when she came home

I've had nose, high ear (in the hard bit) eyebrow and belly button aswell as normal lobe ear rings (2 sets in each ear) i now only have 1 set of lobes with ear rings in (diamond studs)... and thats why i never had a tattoo! and never will, i'm like you.... piercings heal tattoos are harder to get rid of!

OUCH!

I've only got my ears pierced, and that said, they're prolly tryna heal up right now, cos it's ages since I had earrings in. *Makes note to go hunt some out and wear them if I can get them in*

The only one that gave me any trouble was the top of the ear, hurt to lie on for YEARS! although i would say i regret them as i did get a blood related iccky thing (all sorted now) that the only way me and docs could come up with was getting pierced in not so good parlours! SO always tell your kids to check out the places hygine!"!!.. goes for Tatts too!

You're not old

Neither am I ... although there are a whole load of people who appear to be younger than me

My kids talk about music and I have no idea what they mean. I see girls on nights out when it's raining with no coat and no brolly  My girls clothes are getting shorter and tighter and I'm sitting in jammies

hahah - you're like me.    I watched in the other afternoon - made me jump a few times, but didn't give me sleepless nights.

Thankfully his decoration is just lines cut in to his eyebrow, so it will eventually grow back.

Cinds

My grandson is going on a PGL trip to France with the school. The coach leaves at midnight tonight. He's been a bit off since Friday night - today he has a sore throat. I've told his parents to take him to the drop in GP at the hospital (can't really believe I've had to tell them that ). He is allergic to penicillin - I'm a bit worried for him TBH. There are a couple of kids in his class with tonsillitis - I do hope he's OK.
