Daughter had just announced she's taking her boyfriend to meet her dad and it's upset me, don't know why really, jealous maybe, she's been with him for nearly 3 yrs so that shows a lot really that they haven't met before

That's the way I see it, I've gave her love and protection for years and he comes along with his money and penthouse flat (he is currently avoiding the csa) and she falls for it everytime he's got 6 grand coming back to him this week in taxes, so she's his best friend 
she knows the abuse I went through by him and knows how I feel when she does this 
it's up to her, she's a great girl but she's mixing with a lot of rich girl's and she wants the same I'm glad I have my dad and not hers

I feel for you Aimee Doesn't seem fair that he gets all the gratitude and happy faces when he's giving her everything she wants yet you've had to do the teenage tantrums, mood swings and everything else that comes with the 24/7 parenting that he seems to have avoided. It'll only last so long though....she'll see through him.

Aimee, don't worry about it, she sounds like a good sensible girl from what you have told us, and I'm sure she appreciates everything you have done for her. But she's young and if she wants to see her Dad when he's got some money, then good for her, hopefully she'll fleece him for everything he's avoided paying to the CSA.
