Thankfully, things have changed for school leavers now, they can't just leave they have to be in some sort of education, sixth form, college or an apprenticeship. He's going to college to do A levels.
And jeez if I was tearful earlier, you should have seen the state of me when reading the lovely comments his teachers had wrote in his year book.
Good luck to him with the A levels, I'm sure he'll do well.

I was at the bus stop today and there was a lad of about 17/18 sitting next to me, he was wearing a baseball cap and a hoodie with the hood over his cap, a funeral past with horse and carriage and he stood up and took his hoodie and cap off there are some decent people left in this world

Everything tiled/plumbed and waiting for plumber to fit bath/toilet/sink/shower/heated towel rail - he's away for the bank holiday weekend - will be coming on Tuesday night! Electrician doing final fix on Tuesday too.
I'm off to my sisters in Kent tomorrow for a couple of days - first thing on the list .......................a long soak!

I just spoke to my brother... SiL bp has been kept low all day He sounds so much happier today He admitted the "s__t scared" yesterday bless him
I'm not surprised he was scared....specially with it being his first baby. Glad the SIL's BP is lower now.
He's 28 and massive Ells, at my grandmas funeral in March he was shoulder shaking sobbing.... that's all i could think of when i thought of what might happen 
Really looking forward to giving him a big hug tomorrow as it's all i wanted to do all day yesterday.
I'm sure he will very much appreciate a big hug from his mum
