Sounds like you've got a great weekend coming up - enjoy!

This is the recipe I follow for the Basque Lamb Stew.

I take my hat off to you, Cinds. I almost go completely round the twist when we are decorating one room, I couldn't cope with doing the whole house.

The only 2 rooms in the house that are not being done is the kitchen, because that was done when we fitted a new one last summer, and our bedroom, which was done early last year.  BUT we're almost there

I have to do as much as I can when we can manage to pin down our decorator, he works away a lot and spends months at a time in Thailand with some bit of fluff he has out there.

So, are you and Mr Cinds are funding his next holiday?

I am still in awe at you having so many rooms done at once, my nerves would be frazzled.

Pour it out on us, it's better than blowing it all up on Mr Woo.  (I said blowing it all up on Mr Woo & not blowing Mr Woo).

Probably.

And don't get me started, we've just sat and said what a shame it is that all of upstairs is redecorated and re-carpeted apart from our room.  We discussed for a while then I said "no I'm to tired with it all to start pulling our room apart again, but it's a shame it is going to be the only room upstairs with a different carpet.......NO NO".

I'm sitting here thinking, I bet tomorrow once I've had a good nights sleep, I'll be 'Oh go on then, do ours too'

Actually, I see no reason why your bedroom should be left out. You've come this far, go for it girl!

And that's from a woman who hates decorating.

No I can't take the credit for the drawing

As for joy ......................it's gone long past joy TBH. I would be happy not to be fobbed off and lied to. How can you arrange builders/joiners/pumbers/electricians when you're waiting for bits (albeit small) that are very dependent on the next stage?? ie. you can't plaster/tile etc. until certain bits are done.

I'm waiting for an internal shower wall corner - it should have been here yesterday (joiner booked for today) I was told it was defininitely gonna be here - I waiyed till 1.15 before ringing to ensure it was on it's way ....................lots of umming and ahing - they'llring me back etc. I gave it an hour and a half no return call - I rang again - the said it's on it's way. Did it arrive? Did it buggery!!!

Sorry the details are just boring but - they've had my money - everything should have been here last Friday - this is the second time I've waited in all day and no ones shown.

This morning I'm told it's being couriered here before 10am tomorrow - I won't hold my breath. I'm thoroughly peeeeed off.

First Bathrooms are great on choice, great on price, lovely sales personnel -  I was singing their praises to everyone. They've let themselves down BIG TIME and not just once on delivery - what a shame

Rant over. I'm just a boring old cow.

I'ma tiny bit excited ...............I have had the same (home) hairdresser for years. She is really lovely (very eccentric) but she does lack imagination. I've wanted to change for a long, long time but haven't had the heart to tell her.

She has a Downs Syndrome child - her partner is on benefits and when I saw her the other day and asked her to call in she told me that she daren't as she has has a fall out with her neighbours and she's frightened they'll shop her She only does a few people in the village.

Anyway - I'm having my hair cut by someone new tomorrow - can't wait.

Lovely Soozy.....are you going to go for something completely different?  I say do it, it's only hair....it'll grow back!

I am in limbo with mine at the minute.  It's long and dark brown but a bit boring and I want something new done to it.  I'm considering Ombre highlights but I'm worried they are on their way out already.  I don't really want to go blonde again because it's too hard to keep and red just annoys me because it can clash with some clothes!

I too had a home hairdresser for convenience but she's moved away and I've not found a new one yet. I too want a change of style, I want some layers in my hair. I've looked at some youtube vids of people who cut their own hair into layers either to save money or they just don't trust hairdressers, have come across some interesting videos of how they do it. Is there nothing that either google or youtube doesn't have an answer to lol.
