Baby Luke was on the way up when I spoke last night, still waiting for today's news.  But Mum was very chirpy and positive last night.

Ooooh and a wrong thread snaffle. 

I did laugh the other week when I heard on the news a certain brand of nuts had to be removed from the shelves because they didn't contain the warning 'May contain nuts' 

As some of you may know we've got the decorator in this week and having carpets fitted around several rooms.  Anyway they came & did the stairs this morning because our tows couldn't take any more shredding from the gripper rods.  Anyway the carpet fitter left so it was just me & the decorator in the house.  I'm bent over on the stairs vacuuming all the bits up when I suddenly felt someone tickling my bottom.  I was like , I enjoyed it for a split second longer before I turned round and much to my relief saw Mr Cinds standing there. 

 You crack me up, Cinds.

 

How's baby Luke doing?

He's good thanks Yogi.  Just had an update, and he's off the drips etc. and Mum is being able to feed him herself so she's really pleased about that.

 That's great, Cinds.  

And I've just realised I spelled TOES as TOWS   I blame the fact that I was thinking about someones hand hanging off the back of me. 

I did wonder what tows was meant to be.

Yay!  Great news, Cinds      you deserve a good bottom tickling to celebrate..

I do, I really do.  Not only have I had the worry of the baby (even though the worry was minimal , but his mental Grandmother (ie Mr C's ex wife) has just been ridiculously mental.  (I actually deleted the F word from that sentence).

She's took to texting at stupid o'clock in the morning.  

 

*(daughters name) is being hospitalised and the baby is being took in to intensive care*  

 

We had already spoken to the daughter, "baby going in to special care for obs so they're keeping me in"

 

Then 2 hours later, *it's touch and go, keep your fingers crossed for them.*

Summer should I admit that I used to exchange feet tickling with my Dad for a little bottom tickling when I was a little girl/boy?

OH HELL That sounds bad.

 

 

Firstly,  I was born a girl.  But I looked like a boy when I was little.

 

Secondly, my father was not in to tickling little boys bottoms, apparently when I was very little it was the only way MAM & DAD could get me to sleep.

 

Thirdly, who doesn't like their feet tickled, it's so lovely.

Both manager's at my daughter's boyfriend's football team have left over racist accusations  he's spoken up and now looks like being sack 

 

in better news, he's got his driving test this afternoon, fingers crossed everyone 

Remember my wonderful doctors?  Three weeks ago my daughter had a bad cough and her chest was hurting, one Dr thought it might be asthma and  to come back three weeks later if cough didn't go away, went back this morning and she has a chest infection (no asthma),  so disturbed sleep,  hacking cough and pain because first Dr couldn't be bothered 

Daughter's boyfriend has past his driving test first time 

yay!   BUT... I've missed a bit... didn't they split up?  Are they back together or is he new?

Their back together, he came to see me to ask if could see her again or did I want to punch him  he's a nice lad so I'm happy for them

She's going to make his life a misery now demanding lifts 

Aw, that's really good news, Aims - I'm pleased for her (did you give him just a little punch at least? )

I was tempted, he said he'd finished with her to see if she was bothered  then he was scared by her reaction and was too worried to come round cause he thought I would hit him  then he asked me for a hug and started crying  so I couldn't hit him after that, you wouldn't believe he's a footballer the big softy

Machel, I hope they've given your daughter some antibiotics, now that they've finally managed to diagnose her condition properly?

Yes she has some antibiotics, what she could have had weeks ago 

That's very frustrating machel I hope she soon feels better, they could have got it cleared up weeks ago though Cinds- I don't judge if you enjoy a good tickle, that's your business Aimee, great news! On both the test and his asking permission to get back together with your daughter

Only one bedroom left for the decorator to finish and then the carpet fitted on Friday.  Can't wait to get back to some normality.  Downstairs is all finished so I've just finished straightening up and cleaning.  Having 5 while my floors dry and then I'll start cooking tonight and tomorrow nights dinner.

 

Tonight:  Chilli with home made guacamole.

 

Tomorrow: Basque Lamb Stew.

 

Thursday: Mr C is cooking me a curry

 

Friday: Out for dinner before going to see Sean Locke

 

Saturday: Going to York to meet the new grandson.

 

Sunday: Chill out

I take my hat off to you, Cinds. I almost go completely round the twist when we are decorating one room, I couldn't cope with doing the whole house.

And I'm saying nothing other than I am completely and utterly and totally peed off

ooohhh... I'm having chilli tonight (no guacamole though ) but I love the sound of the basque lamb stew - got a recipe?
