Ordered more shoes from another outlet while this muddle was going on and now today 2 pairs of shoes have turned up from original supplier - I have not ordered them and they have took no money

do I confess or keep quiet ??

Try to keep quiet, BUT, the shoes will squeak when walking in them

Don't ask me why, but my Granny used to say that squeaky shoes meant they weren't paid for

God if you could hear this right Dhead in our office right now.  Claiming he's a mercenary who's worked all over the world.  Yeah right mate, that's why you're in our office right now asking for work to help us recover bad debt

ETA:  After I posted that message he went on to claim that he'd been requested to be one of the funeral cortege guards at Margaret Thatchers funeral

Yeah OK Walter Mitty

Bloody hell!!  Royal Mail aren't half making their money these days!

I bought some boots on ebay this week and paid a fiver postage to the seller.  They arrived this morning and I noticed the postage was ÂĢ8.  I thought that was a bit dear but shrugged it off thinking the seller had sent them some other way than I would normally.

Then I went to the post office to post 9 items that I sold on ebay (I've sold 20 but think I'd be taking the pee if I took 20 parcels in with me in one go).  Anyway, first few parcels were fine although I noticed that they had gone up in price from the usual ÂĢ2.20 to ÂĢ2.80.  No big deal.  Then I got to the 5 pairs of shoes I was posting.  ÂĢ5.50!!  I nearly had a heart attack.  They've gone from ÂĢ3.75 (or round about that) to ÂĢ5.50.  I am pissed off because 2 of the pairs of shoes I sold went for cheap so I made exactly 80p on one pair and 25p on another.

Feckers.

The thing is with barbies - it should in theory be easier as the 'men' traditionally do the cooking. I end up fetching and carrying - the washing up seems to be ten fold and all the ectra bits and bobs are a faff. In all honesty I'd rather do a roast but .....you've gotta make hay (and kebabs/burgers/sausages etc.) while the sun shines I suppose.

I'm making a Slimming World cheesecake using Quark .....never done that before - I'm a bit apprehensive TBH.
