But now you mention it, Angus is more Alpaca than Llama but you'd better get MrC to take a look at this and get back to it.

Wait until next week after he's had his hair cut, he'll go from Alpaca to pompous judge

I'm organised food wise for the next few days.  I have sushi winging it's way to the house as we type.  Have beef rib to cook for tomorrow, with roasties etc and the ingredients to back a chicken and leek pie for Monday.  (I saw a man with a giant moustache cook one on Saturday Farm earlier)

ETA I also have wine ready for tomorrow afternoon.  It's ages since I did Sunday afternoon drinks.

Wasn't there something in the last few years that was a bum wiper, where you put a wet wipe in to a holder to wipe ones bum?  I can remember seeing it, maybe it was a joke & I fell for it.

It's my great nieces birthday this week and I have just been wrapping her gifts and writing the card.  This is how I wrote the card, it's made me chuckle anyway.

To *****

Have a wonderful 3rd Birthday,

All of our love

Your Great Aunty Lisa, your mediocre Uncle Daniel & your average cousin Liban.

I'm so relieved. Mrs Jer had a recall after her last mammogram. It all seemed to happen with undue haste. We seem to have been surrounded by death and cancer recently, and then she suddenly seemed to want to do everything with me. Unusual things, football etc. worrying times. She had an early appointment this morning, a scan, and some sort of wire biopsy?? They found nothing. A piccolo of Champagne tonight I think.

That's excellent news, and well worth some champers, Joe.

Earlier today I was watching "Fake Britain" on BBC1. There was an item on it about Bugaboo prams. A very pregnant woman had bought one of these prams off the tinternet for ÂĢ663. After it arrived not only was it a fake but a very dangerous fake too. It had all the correct safety and branded paperwork with it.

But......

ÂĢ663 for a pram? thudunbelievable or what?

Nope! I know someone who spent ÂĢ800 plus on hers..... Wouldn't catch me doing that though!

Everyone I know who has bought/insisted on one of these super duper travel systems (prams) have ended up ditching it and buying a more practical and much cheaper one at a later date. I'm an old fogey and not very nimble fingered but the ones I've seen have been incredibly fiddly and complicated, didn't fold down particularly small and were rather cumbersome and heavy.

I was a pioneer in my day - I was one of the first to have a McLaren layback double buggy. I have to say I really hate those multi buggies where the baby lays underneath everything and everyone - not very good at explaining but I think they're horrible.

I did that with my pram, mum and dad insisted on paying for the pram and bought a lovely one from jessops but because I had a car I hardly used it and ended up buying a buggy that I could just chuck in the boot

oh what to do

ordered MrH work trainers from an online outlet that I have used before - when they arrived wrong size in the box - contacted and agreed they could go back - in the meantime ordered more - arrived and wrong shoes in the box to what I had ordered - totally unsuitable for work - contacted again and they agreed to return and pay for return carriage - all this went through on the 28th April - full refund plus courier fee - so far so good

Ordered more shoes from another outlet while this muddle was going on and now today 2 pairs of shoes have turned up from original supplier - I have not ordered them and they have took no money

do I confess or keep quiet ??
