That's good

You have to be damn brave to go on some of those rides. So no good for me

We have a friend who we've sort of adoptedover the years. He's in his seventies, single and stuck in the 1950's. He's bought himself a lap top and it's fallen to me to give him lessons.

Last night I tried to help him set up an e mail address. I'm not kidding it was like a comedy sketch. When it came to choosing 2 security questions OMG Blimmin hilarious

Q. Which hospital were you born in?

A. Well it used to be called .G............... but they changed it to N....... I think the names changed again now - erm - I don't know.

Q. your first pet

A. We had a dog called Rex (that's good lets put that in) well .................strictly speaking he wasn't mine he was a family pet - he belonged to all of us - I did have Rover but .,hmmmmm - I don't know.

Q. What is the name of the street you were bought up in

A. Oooh that's a bit tricky because although my parents lived in A ........street - I did spend a lot of time at my grandmas - it was her that bought me up really.

Q. The name of your favourite teacher

A. Oh that's easy - Mr Dixon. Well now then - he wasn't actually my favourite but he's the one I remember best - now my favourite was a lady teacher - I can't remember her name now.

It was like he was sitting an exam!!! So funny but I was like -

My Mum was here at the time Jen - she's 82 and batty as anything. She was (I think) a little bit jealous and said' Iris (her friend) has got a lap top - her daughter taught her how to play games and everything.'

I gave her a weak smile (thinly disguised as) DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!!!

Just had a phone call at the office

caller "Could I speak to Mr C please"

me "Can I say who's calling?"

Caller "*insert name* from Secure Health"

me "What is it regarding?"

Caller "renewal of his health care plan"

Me "Does he have a health care plan with you?"

Caller "no, not at the moment"

Me "So it's not really a renewal then is it?"

Caller "Can I speak to Mr C please"

Me "No" hangs up

Recently, my dad phoned me because he wanted to book some flights using the internet. He was too impatient couldn't wait for one of us to visit and book it for him, so I had to talk him through it on the phone. I had to go onto the website and make a fake booking, so I could tell him exactly what to click on. Over an hour later, his flights were booked - and my nerves were shattered! Good luck Jen.

Do you have a lot of patience Jen?

We'll find out! I normally do tbh, much more than my brother who will go through it once with him and then get fed up when he asks him to do it again lol
